ParticipantHeadcanon: 3×19 will be called Phoenix and will have the rest of the August/Neal story
I’m on board with that. Filling in that part of the story could well be something that Adam and Eddy wanna write themselves.
I can see that as a possibility RG & Phee but I have to wonder if this is the episode where Charming & Snow learn about the circumstances that lead up to Emma being sent to jail. But I doubt this will be a death episode. I’ve always believed that Neal never made the call to have Emma arrested. I’ve always believed that it was August all along and that he had to have gotten the idea from someone else. Because I believe had Neal known that Emma was pregnant with Henry and in jail he wouldn’t have allowed her to go to jail and he would never have left her.” I got the impression in 2×17 “Welcome To Storybrooke” That he regretted his actions in the part he played in Emma & Neal’s separation. Someone had to tell him who Neal was so the question is who was it ? Blue Fairy, The Black Fairy, or the WWW or Pan.

ParticipantAdam and Eddy confirmed that they are writing 3×19
That must mean this episode is going to be BIG!
This could be big. You don’t think that this could be where we see August return do ?

“I love you. I probably always will. But my secret… is that I was hoping this was a trick. I was hoping you were dead, because it would be easier to put you behind me than to face all the pain that we went through all over again.”

ParticipantGood Afternoon Everyone,
I’ve said all along that I believe that it will be Hook that is the one who is going to die. Storyline wise his death does indeed make the most sense logically because the Neverland story is done and they have said no more Neverland so if this is story driven as Adam has been maintaining all along I can definitely see it happening especially given Adam’s response to RG’s tweet last night. When you look overall at the promo posters this season they make it clear as to what the objective is and what the end result of each character will be by the end of Season 3. Take Hook for example his poster says “Believe that a Pirate can be a hero” Through out season 3 we have seen Hook maintain that he believes in “Good Form” and that he is a man of honor. Yes did offer his ship and services at the end of season 2 to help get Henry and yes he even went as far as to forgo his desire to kill Rumple and avenge Milah’s death but still his intentions in doing all of this was not noble or unselfish and Charming saw it for what it was and called him out on it in the episode Good Form which is that Hook wanted Emma. He proved that at the end of Good Form by using the fact that he saved David’s life from the dreamshade poisoning and then expected Emma to show some gratitude by kissing him he wasn’t going to accept a simple thank you from her which by my estimation shows that his motivation was anything but unselfish. There is more examples throughout the rest of the season 3A but we have yet to see him really do something noble and unselfish and to put the needs or the life or lives of someone else above his own wants, needs and desires and I believe that is what we will see sometime during Season 3B and this motto in the promo picture will actually come true “Believe That A Pirate Can Be A Hero” And what would make him a hero and redeem him would be for him to make the ultimate sacrifice of his life to save Neal, Emma and even Henry from death. Neal’s poster motto on the other hand says to “Believe In Second Chances” and that has been his mantra the entire Season 3A when he told Robin Hood that Emma & Henry were his Second Chance. Before Rumple made his sacrifice he even told Neal that happiness was possible just not with him.” I think Rumple was trying to tell Neal that His Second Chance at happiness was with Emma & Henry. I think Rumple may have fore saw the future because back in Season 2 episode 15 The Queen Is Dead Rumple told Emma that she wanted a Second Chance with Neal and in Season 2 episode 21 Second Star To The Right Rumple again told Neal that he carried a torch for Emma. The theme of Second Chances has been a theme ever since season 2 and I can’t believe that they would just abruptly not want their audience to believe in Second Chances because that also constitutes believing in Hope and True Love and there is no way that Adam & Eddy would take away those themes from the show. So I think the speculation that it’s Neal who will die is an intended misdirection in order to shock fans when it turns out to be Hook as the one who dies.

ParticipantRumplesGirl wrote: This is one of the things I hate most about the death spoiler. It’s taking away Emma’s choice in her future mate. If it comes down to Hook and Neal and Emma was going to make a decision eventually but then one of them DIES before she does that, her choice is now gone. She is no longer in control of her own destiny and life. It’s you end up with the alive one because he’s the one left standing. I hate that. And if Hook does die and she ends up with Neal…we’ll never hear the end of it.
Precisely. And to me, Emma losing Neal and ending up with Hook would make it seem like she was settling for her second choice. Last time Emma thought Neal died, she was devastated and tried to distract herself from her grief by making out with the pirate. Yet, come light of day, what remains? I don’t see what foundation they have to build a home on or what they even have in common. Is Hook really going to dismantle the Jolly Roger and come live in a home made of brick and mortar? Is he really going to be Mr. Monogamous and Step-Dad of the Year? I have a really hard time stomaching it if that is the direction the show goes. In my estimation, it sends the wrong message to viewers that says, “Good guy who lived a hard lives dies a miserable death, while that poor man’s quasi-step-dad who’s always been selfish ursups his place to get the family nice guy always craved. Moral of the story: it doesn’t matter how much of a bully you are for hundred of years because one week of good behavior is enough to make up for it. Is that the message that A&E want to teach children? Isn’t there enough of that crap in real life? If that happens then I can’t in good faith keep thinking about the nose-dive the show takes.
Agreed Slurpeez If they go in that direction and kill Neal and she ends up with Hook I believe that will send a very wrong message to fans that, even though you are a good and honest guy despite having been wronged as a child you have tried to live a good but hard life despite all kinds of odds now when there is a real chance a happiness for the future in the end it doesn’t matter because death is what you end up with and the one who wronged you child is able to just come in take what is yours without so much as I’m sorry that I’ve wronged you twice in a lifetime but I’m to selfish to not just take what I want and what I want is the life you were were supposed to have sorry about your luck. I can’t believe that Adam & Eddy would build this family unit up only to destroy it by purposely not giving them the happy ending that they so richly deserve after everything they have been through. To me that is destroying Belief, Hope, Faith and Love in in one swoop. That doesn’t seem like that is the type of message that they would be wanting to send to fans and the children of fans.

ParticipantI’m telling you guys Adam & Eddy are resetting Once and what we are getting is Once Upon A Time 2.0
If that is the case they are risking alienating the Once Fans

ParticipantI really wish that Eion Bailey still tweeted, but he hasn’t done so since 2010! It’d be nice to know his comings and goings to find out when he’s supposed to be reappearing as August. That way, at least we’d know one way or the other when we might get a Neal-centric episode. I like to think it’ll be post 3×18, after the episode in which young Cora appears. It gives me a glimmer of hope that things will turn out right anyway. After all, before August turned into a little boy again, he told Snow that he was hoping something with regards to Emma and Neal, implicitly hoping that they’d get back together again since he’d actively broken them up in the past. #HopeForSwanfire
That’s true so maybe he’s going to be back to fix things and set things right between Emma & Neal and pave the way for them to get back together. After all August probably realizes now his meddling ruined 3 lives Emma, Neal and their son Henry.
