I’m missing Neal & MRJ too especially since Once Upon A Time starts filming for Season 4 July 9th. Although I have to say I am excited to see Mikey in period costumes for Sons Of Liberty. Hope we get something soon.

Hey Everyone I feel the need to vent a little bit so excuse the short rant.

Just because friends don’t like the same things as another person doesn’t make that a bad thing or just because a friend chooses to have different beliefs other the you doesn’t mean that what you believe is wrong or right. Well the other day I was on twitter and found that I was blocked by someone who I considered a friend simply because I am a SwanFire Fan and I vocalize it & how I dislike the show direction on Twitter & Facebook. It seems to me that if we are friends it shouldn’t matter what couple either one of us ships.

Well yesterday I participated in the #StopOnceUponAHook Twitter Trend not only because I’m still very sad, angry, upset and bitter over how MRJ, Neal, SwanFire & the fans were all treated by the writers and the network and the Hook and CS Fans as whole but because the show has gone downhill in my opinion due to the over promotion of Hook as well the various continuity mistakes, plot holes, the storyline in general.
For me I loved Once Upon A Time because I have always loved fairytales, fables as well as myths & legends and Once Upon A Time brought these iconic characters to life and gave us new characters to love in a modern day fairytale that incorporated Family, Hope, Faith, Belief, Magic, Curses, Kings & Queens, Prince’s & Princesses, Witches, Wizards, Pirates, Ogres, Trolls, Gnomes, Second Chances, True Love, True Loves Kiss, Happy Endings & Happy Ever Afters, Adventures, Quests, etc. What drew me in was that they mixed the old fairytales with a new tale in modern day, Now it seems the dynamic of the show has changed so dramatically into something I hardly recognize now. It seems like it’s all about Hook now every character on the show seems OOC these days and their screen time seems to be less & less because they want to show more & more Hook and CS and that is something that I’m not on board with.

The last time I checked it was still a free country and fans have the right to to speak their minds and voice their opinions to the network and the show’s creators. Well yesterday the message I got from the Hook & CS Fans over on Twitter was that I’m not a real fan because I don’t ship CS and I dislike Hook so I should quit watching Once Upon A Time.

I agree with Heather if they do go to Comic-Con it will be a complete and utter joke as Heather just said. But I’m interested to see what questions about SF, Neal, MRJ does actually get thrown at Adam & Eddy, & the entire cast because they have got to figure there are going to be fans there who will want ask those type of questions.
I doubt that the questions from fans will screened because generally at these events their not but in this case they just might be because they don’t want to deal with the backlash from the fans for what they did. So in a way I agree with Rainbow that if they do go to Comic-Con this year they are likely to include Jared this time to give the view of a united cohesive front between the Creators & the Cast. Which in my opinion will be all about Public Relations Damage Control.

ABC along with Adam & Eddy and the cast aren’t that stupid & blind they have to know that many of the fans are angry and want answers. The real question then becomes will they have the balls to admit their mistakes at public event like this.

Finally caught up with reading our thread. I certainly wasn’t expecting to come in here and see all these CS gifs,arguements, etc. What the frick happened ? Seriously did I wake up in the twilight zone or some alternate universe ? This is supposed to be our little haven.

I had a season 1 rewatch last week and now I’m watching Season 2 again.

I’m not in SadTown because I still have some hope and optimisim but I guess you could say I’m in BitterTown.

I may be hopeful and optimistic but I’m still bitter over what A & E along with ABC did to MRJ and his character of Neal/Baelfire. I actually agree with a lot of what Rainbow said above

At least we have fanfiction! It might not fully replace the tv show, but it is better than nothing!

Exactly FanFiction may not really replace the story that we were originally supposed to get but Millie’s right it’s better then not having anything at all.

I propose that we make our on virtual seasons to go along with or an alternative to the story we will be seeing during the upcoming seasons 4 & 5 that way we get the best from worlds the story that ABC is giving us no choice to watch unfold and story that we should have gotten to see unfold told from the SwanFire perspective.

No matter what the outcome now or in future for Once Upon A Time RG is right about it being a no win situation at least from the perspective of the the show’s creators A & E, the cast and us of course the fans.

They flat out told JMo that Baelfire was Henry’s father and it wouldn’t surprise me if they told Robert Carlyle the same thing. Because as I understand it they specifically sought out JMo from House and Robert Carlyle for those two roles and we know they went specifically to MRJ for the role of Baelfire/Neal. I think when A & E went to MRJ and asked him to take on the role of Baelfire/Neal Cassidy they had the SwanFire story in mind as the fairytale they were wanting to tell as a whole mixed into the other iconic Fairytales of the Enchanted Forest specifically the tales of Rumplestilitskin, Snow White, Prince Charming & The Seven Dwarves It wouldn’t surprise me if they told him that the outcome would be that Neal would get back together with Emma and would be the father to Henry that Rumple wasn’t to him. That Rumple & Neal would eventually make amends with one another and be family once again.

As I said before in another post I do think that ABC got involved and interfered with the story whether that was because of the fan girls going gah gah over Collin as Hook on social media or just flat out network greed because of Collin’s looks I can’t say but whatever the cause of the change in the original story that they wanted to tell I do think there will be repercussions from it. Most likely in the form of losing some fans as well how some fans who choose to stay and watch the remaining seasons view the show. I think some of the repercussions we are already seeing is how less then excited the cast seems to be over the change in the story they don’t tweet as much with the fans anymore and as someone else pointed out when they do tweet about something OUAT related it’s retweets from ABC’s twitter feed. It will be interesting to see how the Comic-Con panel with Adam & Eddy and the cast will play out this year versus last year and how how well received Once will be following the change in story and the addition of Frozen to the OnceVerse.

I think another repercussion is that some fans have already stopped following ABC’s Once Upon A Time twitter feed and well as Adam’s some fans I’ve talked to privately have even unfollowed other people who are or was involved with Once as well.

At the end of the day TV & Film is a business just like anything else and you have but two choices you can follow if you want your show to be successful and go into syndication then you can can either A. Sell out your intergrity do what the network wants you to do and change things to suit their purposes to keep the money coming in and sure thing for syndication or B. You can be true to yourself and keep your intergrity, morals and staying true and honest to the kind of story you are trying to tell to your audience and risk cancellation, no deal for syndication.

Myself I’m becoming and independent filmmaker just so that I can keep myself true to the kind stories I want to tell.

You want to believe it, then by all means, believe that he’ll be back. I don’t and I’m not going to. And just as you have a right to express yourself and your hope, I have a right to express myself and my hopelessness. You think you have ample evidence that he’ll be back, fine. Believe whatever you want. But I don’t appreciate your accusations that I am trying to shut down people who have hope. I don’t like people TELLING me what to believe that trying to force their opinions on me. And I have said many times, believe what you want, but LEAVE ME OUT OF IT.

RG I’m not saying that you are intentionally trying to shut down people who have hope what I’m trying to say and obviously failing miserably is that when I read your response to Marty that is how it appeared to me and I don’t think it was intentional on your part at all that is just how I took it or rather how I perceived it. I’m truly sorry if my optimism to still hold on to some kind of hope offends you ore anyone else who feels hopeless that certainly wasn’t my intention
