Mr. Gold is off on an adventure into a terrifying land he’s never been before — New York. And while Henry certainly enjoys the trek to NYC in this week’s episode of Once Upon a Time, Mr. Gold’s journey to find his son definitely is not going to go smoothly, according to executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. “I would say that ‘Manhattan’ is going to be the showdown that everyone wants to [see],” says Kitsis, referring to Mr. Gold’s reunion with his son. (Also, there are some amazing flashbacks that explain at least one major burning question fans have Gold for a very long time and the ending of the last flashback will send a chill through your spine.)
Kitsis adds that Gold’s confrontation with his son won’t be the only emotional turmoil we should expect in this week’s hour. “Emma is going to be dealing with a lot of emotional baggage [in the next few episodes], I’ll say that,” Kitsis says. “There are a lot of things she needs to get through.”
In related Once news, as I told you this week, August will make a reappearance later this season, and says Horowitz, “We can’t wait for you to see the next phase of his story.” But the rest of the season won’t just be returns from favorite characters. Two words: —i- -o–.IMO I think Edward & Adam are pretty much confirming that Neil is indeed Baelfire

So I guess that means the dagger is buried…wasn’t there a suggestion that it was in the library basement somewhere?
Rumple had the dagger in episode 2×01 “Broken” He used it in the forest to summon the wraith. But I do think it’s well hidden either somewhere in Storybrooke or in forest. I think he is the only one who knows it’s location.
lisasParticipantI agree I will be surprised if we get any type of sneak peak of Neil with Emma or Neil with Rumple or Henry. I just don’t see ABC giving a sneak peak of the major bombshell of Neil admitting to Emma about being Rumple’s son Baelfire. I believe this discovery is really going throw Emma into a tailspin for a lot of reasons. I started to suspect that Rumple could be Henry’s grandfather when Regina had Rumple come to Snow,Emma & David’s apartment to help Henry in 2×08 and Regina asked him what his price was for his help with Henry and Rumple told her she couldn’t afford it and it was for Henry and on the house, I don’t think he knew at that point his connection to Henry.
I think Neil/Bae finding out about Henry is going to be huge and very emotional. I don’t think it will be just Rumple or wanting Emma back that will lead Neil/Baelfire to Storybrooke I think it will be the fact that finding out that he has a son & wanting to know his son Henry that will bring him to Storybrooke and want to help Emma protect him from Cora, Regina and Hook and at the same time reconcile with Rumple. But I don’t think Neil will have an easy road getting Emma back because of what he and August did to her. I somehow get the feeling that Neil will be the one to tell Snow & Charming about what August told him about being tasked to take care of Emma.lisasParticipant@myril wrote:
So, digital cinematography, what are your plans, dreams for it?
Welcome! 🙂Well once I am done with school I will be an independent filmmaker. My goal is to write, produce and direct. Currently I am working as an unpaid PA on a movie that is being filmed here.

Of course they had to choose this ep in particular to start holding the sneak peeks hostage. 😈 Just had a look at youtube and it’s still not up there yet.

I guess no one has posted the sneak peeks yet. 😥
I did come across notes from someone who listened to a radio show that previewed “Manhattan” early. http://portalsofperception.tumblr.com/post/42897408775/just-listened-to-barbara-barnetts-radio-show
Oh my god this episode is just going to kill me I know. 😥
This ep is gonna be EPIC from beginning to end!
I have to agree with Phee this episode is going to be epic there is no question about it. I think we can pretty much add up that Neil is indeed Rumple’s son Bae. I have a feeling that is just one of the many bombshells that is in store for us between now and the season finale in May. I hope we start getting sneak peaks before Wednesday ?
lisasParticipantLook what I found on Facebook earlier tonight http://canadagraphs.weebly.com/8/post/2013/02/once-upon-a-time-films-some-scenes-for-season-2-episode-18-with-a-returning-character-of-noteand-maybe-a-new-1.html
I think this could be confirmation that Neil is Rumple’s son Bae because look who is in Storybrooke & wielding a sword http://vancityfilming.com/once-upon-a-time-michael-raymond-james-with-a-sword/#prettyPhoto
lisasParticipantMy thoughts are that is Charming’s twin brother James with Jack and that they together slay this peaceful giant
lisasParticipantI’m surprised ABC hasn’t given us at least 3 more sneak peaks they usually give us at least 4 every week plus the promos I liked the sneak peek between Regina & Cora but I want to see one with Emma, Henry,Snow,Charming, plus I want to want too see one with Rumple, Belle and Hook.
lisasParticipantDon’t we usually end up with 4 sneak peaks per episode before every new episode airs ? We got 2 today. I was hoping we’d get a sneak peek of Emma bonding with Charming
