loved BOTH Rumbelle scenes. I didn’t have ANY problem with the scene in the woods. We have to remember that Gold had been planning for this particular moment for hundreds of years when suddenly Belle shows up. As much as he loves her and as overwhelmed as he is that she is alive he can’t just suddenly stop his years old plan to spend quality time with her.

I know the whole “magic is power’ line foreshadows Rumpel’s struggle between power and love, but I get sad when people only pick out the negative parts of the Belle and Rumpel reunion and fail to mention the tragically beautiful love between the two.

Being the rumbelle fangirl I am, I also chose Gold. I can see him easily becoming over protective and not letting her out of his sight. This is not completely a bad thing. Yes Belle has always strived for freedom (which she deserves) but after all the pain she has been put through, she could use a shoulder to lean on.
I tragically agree with you, The_Savior. Rumpel is hands down my favorite character, but I have this awful feeling he will eventually give his life to protect either Belle or Bae (showing that love made him strong enough to shed his cowardice.) ….Hopefully Belle shall come to the rescue with true love kisses…. What a heartfelt scene that would be. But I would want it in the last episode of the entire series so I get my fill of Rumple!
