Hi, everybody. As everybody here well knows, I’m a Hook fan. I chose to post this here because this could be a spoiler. Don’t know for sure. If anybody can think of a better place, please feel free to move the topic.
I can be a little gullible. I know that. Yes, I am a Captain Swan shipper, and so maybe that’s why this made me so upset. I have a very small and uneventful tumblr page (I’m still learning how to use it). I saw a post from yesterday where somebody said someone anonymously told them that they know future story lines from the show, that Hook will die, and that this impacts the entire team. Naturally, I’m boiling because 1.) My favorite character and reason for the show might be taken away or 2.) that somebody is out there spreading rumors to depress fans. Probably some crazy shipper who either hates Hook, or takes their Hook/(fill in the blank) ship too seriously.
In any case, I’m throwing out my “ask”. Does anybody know about this? Does it hold water?

I think the person in the cage is Greg. I don’t think he died. No proof or anything, just a hunch.

I read here: http://article.wn.com/view/2013/10/23/Once_Upon_a_Time_casting_news_The_Dark_One_Rumplestiltskin_g/#/related_news that Rumple’s father has been cast.
Something got my attention: Rumple’s father’s name is Colin. I looked up the name meanings of Colin and Killian (because they sound similar), and found something interesting. These names have opposite meanings. I’m not suggesting anything because I don’t know where they are going with this, but that did raise my eyebrows.

Last season, most of the time, sneak peeks were released on Thursday. We ususally got more than 1 (I remember sometimes getting many as five, but I doubt we’ll have that many). Anybody think we’ll have any sneak peeks today for 3×2?

LOL! I just asked a question to a journalist on tumblr about CS, if Emma is the one who tells Killian about his Disney version, and she said yes it’s Emma! I can’t wait to see that scene.
I can imagine it now:
“Swan, whatever story you think you know is most certainly wrong.” LOLOLOL
Would love to see that scene. I’d also love a scene where Hook settles down to watch Disney’s Peter Pan to see what all the fuss is about.

My liking for CaptainSwan varies. When Hook is being a cheeky chap like in Tallahassee and 301, I am quite open to CaptainSwan, but when he is hurting Belle or Rumple, I don’t want him anywhere near Emma.
Hopefully, now that Hook has gotten over his revenge and stopped trying to hurt Rumple by any means, his cheeky side will be more prominent and I could actually see Emma and Hook having a relationship of some sort.
That’s just it. I think the cheekiness is the real Hook. I think Hook needs to learn his lessons to shed the “villan” side of himself. I liked in 3×1, where Regina mentioned she was told that villans don’t get happy endings. I think there could be a lot of story to tell that would take Hook from who he is now, to somebody who learns that lesson. I don’t want to miss out on it. ;o)

Although I am quite annoyed that the podcasts are not unbiased and fail to mention the very OBVIOUS CS hints in the episode and the parallels and the foreshadowing. This isn’t something you could twist. Hook’s facial expression, the whole happy endings talk and looking at Emma after saying it and the pan literally panning to her. Just very obvious stuff, that anyone could pick up.
Related to that, I have been noticing how much podcasts have expressed their ship preferences. I think podcasts should try to be neutral when it comes to ships because then it feels very one sided. Even if it is a CS preferred podcaster, I don’t think they should encourage taking sides of the fandom. The podcasts are supposed to being the fandom together.
I noticed it has been very bad lately for multiple podcasts. It turns me off of listening to them. Sorry, end of rant!
I enjoyed the Hook/Emma scenes in ep 1. I like where this season is going.
This is why I don’t listen to the poscast anymore. The last time I heard it, I didn’t feel like there was enough attention given to Hook, and I was getting sick on the same old stuff. Not that I don’t like the other characters, but I mean come on, you feed somebody too much sugar and they get sick, right? If there’s no talk about my favorite character, I’m not going to be interested.
