I have a theory about the theme of season 4. Season 1 was about belief. Season 2 was about redemmption. Season 3 was about love. I think season 4 will be about hope.

I guess what I mean is, they’re not going to have Hook follow the way of Graham and Neal by killing him off in season 4, are they?. That’d be exasperating for fans, and really would turn Emma into another tragic soap diva. It’d be disappointing, and rediculous. 🙁

I liked the “Marty McFly” Back to the Future reference. These episodes felt a lot like that movie.
I agree! A big part of me wants to see a wild haired Rumple in a white lab coat pull up to (a clueless) Hook and Emma in a Delorean from the future, screaming that something has to be done about their kids! LOL!!!!

* Rumple lying to Belle again. Their marriage has started on an insecure foundation of dishonesty. Doesn’t he ever learn anything?!?!?!?
* Outlaw Queen got messed up. Being that Marian is Robin’s wife, I’d feel to guilty to start demanding that they split up a marrige for Outlaw Queen, but this was really starting to grow on me! My heart really broke for Regina.Liked:

* In full disclosure I’ll admidt I have always been a Captain Swan shipper, before stating how much I like the relationship development and the Hook/Emma dialogue and kiss at the end of the finale. Very nicely done.

* Elsa! I cannot wait to see what they do with this! I’m already excited for season 4!
* The naming of Prince Neal is a great way to honor and celeberate Michael Raymond James’ work, the place his character had in Once Upon A Time, and Neal’s fans. I know I mentioned this before, but it’s something I want to expand on. As I direct everyone’s attention to this: http://montanarosalie.tumblr.com/post/85509964957 you may notice something in the last picture. Hook is crying, too. Why does that matter?
I don’t know about how men are raised in the rest of the world, but there is a problem in our older generation here where I live. Many of our men, my father-in-law included, were taught that to be seen crying in front of a woman made them a sissy. I guess the purpose was to make these men tough and durable, but it also in many cases, made them devoid of empathy, and had them wearing a ficade of “macho” in their lives where you never really got to see who they were, or what was important to them.
I know all of this may sound silly, but there is a very special element of genuine honesty I see in a man who isn’t afraid to cry. I think it’s important that men be strong for their women yes, but how can a man be there for his woman, if he won’t let her know what he is feeling?
Just an observation which for me, was a very important part of their relationship development in the finale.

Best finale I’ve ever seen from any show. Really, this was great! Hoping we don’t see season 4 get soapified, but hey, look at how good season 3 was! I hope that means we Captain Swan fans can enjoy more of this love story next season! 🙂

Hoping season 4 doesn’t turn into a Soap Opera after the scene with Regina, Robin, and Marian, but this is honestly the best season Once has had, and the best finale I have ever seen (not just saying that). This was epic! I hope old (evil) Regina doesn’t surface in season 4 after the return of Marian (or is it Miriam). She’s lost two loves (Daniel and now maybe Robin), so I hope she doesn’t try to get revenge on Emma by returning Milah, or hurting Hook to hurt her. I am hoping for a good 4th season of Once. Not “Storybrooke General Hospital” (making Regina Helena, and Snow/David Once’s very own Felicia and Frisco, and Hook/Emma Luke and Laura). Nevertheless, given how good season 3 was, and how good this finale was, I have confidence in A&E to make #4 just as good!
