ParticipantI read the interview with A&E about the finale[\spoiler] (http://www.tvguide.com/special/finale-preview/PhotoGallery/Must-Watch-Finales-1080432/1080476). Why is it that anytime they talk about Upcoming deaths[\spoiler], I automatically start to worry it might be Hook who they’re going to kill off?

ParticipantEmma or Regina might be able to remove the curse, so Hook needs to tell Emma what happened. Besides, it should be Emma’s decision as to whether or not she is “allowed” to kiss Killian…..even if the cost is her magic. Yes, they need to deal with the WWW, but this decision needs to be hers. Not the town’s, not her parents, not Henry’s, not Regina’s, not even Killian’s, and certainly not Zelena’s!
Nope, no way. Killian can unilaterally decide that someone isn’t allowed to kiss him. Every man has the right to set that limit, just like every woman has that right.
What I mean is that instead of keeping stuff from Emma to insulate and protect her, it would mean much more if he honored her enough to be honest about it. She is not a child. If he wants to kiss her, then it should be her decision whether to be magic, or not. Not his.

ParticipantI think Hook should sit Emma down and tell her what happened. She, or Regina might be able to remove the curse. Besides, keeping her magic or having him should be her decision. Not his.

I actually empathize with Neal’s fans. I know how I’d feel if it were Hook, who died. I’m not saying whether they are right or wrong, but for them, Neal was why they watched the show. Love it or hate it, television production is not in business for itself. Sponsors like to advertize on shows people watch (and they must love Once a lot, because boy, are there commercials 😉 ).
Let’s flip the coin. If Hook died would kill the show? I don’t know. The show doesn’t revolve around him, but I can’t see his death being productive, given his high popularity (Hook draws a crowd), and don’t know how anybody else could ever equal or surpass the weight of “Captain Hook” (because great as Emma is, she can’t do it herself). As for me; myself; and I, Hook is why I watch. I probably wouldn’t watch if Hook were killed off. Not for any revenge against ABC , A&E, or the writers, but because for me, there’d just be nothing to see, so why would I watch? If Hook died, it’d take the wind out of my sails (pun intended 😉 )
I’d be stinking mad if it was my favorite, and would probably be one of many who’d have lots of foaming at the mouth, and vitreol over it. Let’s not judge the Neal fans. I guess this is why I understand where Neal fans are coming from. It could have just as easily been Hook.

Participantand I suspect Eric is that king’s sonI
Can’t be his son, there’s at least a 200 year gap (if not a bit more). I do think that Hook might have been in the Navy for Eric’s kingdom, (the buildings in the background in Good Form seem to match buildings in Ariel), but there has to be a few generations in between Hook’s King and Eric. And it’s not like Hook’s Naval past is common knowledge. So I don’t see how Ariel would make that connection (assuming the connection exists).
Yeah, it looks like my timeline is off.

ParticipantEveryone please remember the spoiler tags aren’t working before reading:
The spoiler tags are working just fine.

Remember, this episode is written by the same person who wrote “Good Form”
Good Form was written by Boylan and ThomsenJolly Roger was written by David H Goodman.
Okay, I had bad info. Thanks.

ParticipantYes, I’m sure the folks in the chat are right. What they cut out was the part where Hook and the wench are heavily making out/having the EF version of tavern alley phone sex before Hook decides to walk back into the tavern, go get some money, and come back out to repay her for “partial” services. Because that’s the kind prime time family show OUaT is.
And exactly where do they think he would have wanted to leave to, to go get the money? Unless he would’ve immediately clocked somebody for it, he would have had it on him. It’s not like he would have dashed out to make a bank withdrawal, or run out to his car to unlock his glove box. LOL! 😀
