Has this been confirmed? I saw people in chat talking about a big spoiler but not what it was exactly…

When she is talking to Charming it sounds like she says “It was hard. Henry makes it complicated. It isn’t just about me. *He* is hoping Gold can help bring his memories back” – So it sounds like Emma has seen Neal at this point and he is looking for ways to get Henry his memories back… but Emma isn’t on board with that plan. Question is if this is before or after the crying scene in the promo photos we got. She looks to be wearing the same clothes. I also found it interesting (assuming the “he” is Neal) that not only does she want to leave Storybrooke knowing that Neal is alive and there but she doesn’t want to bring back Henry’s memories, which would include good memories of his dad. He could of course come back to NYC with them and start over but that seems pretty telling to me overall. I think Emma is playing with fire though. Henry is going to be pretty angry with her once he gets his memories back (imo). Seems kind of selfish of her considering all of the family in Henry’s life that she would be essentially cutting out.

I have been reading this FF, which is an AU where Killian is taken by the curse. Basically an episode by episode re-write. Some of the chapters/episodes were kind of too close to actual episodes in the beginning but the writer made some cool changes. I thought the chapter where everyone gets their memories back and Killian goes “back” to Hook was really good/sad.

Am I the only one nervous about the possible death this episode? I saw people discussing it in general spoilers and how if it was going to happen they would have explicitly called out a major character death and that it was too obvious anyway. I am just very ready for this spoiler to be resolved.

Btw thanks to whoever posted about the CS podcast many pages back. I didn’t know it existed. It is nice to listen to a pro CS podcast for a change.

I wrote thoughts about this Another thing he could be hiding is that he just doesn’t want to burden Emma with how much he missed her. Remember, in Ariel, after he confessed his feelings for her, he knew it wasn’t a convenient moment to do so but he had no other choice. He didn’t want to burden her further with that. So I can see Hook making the same decision again, because once again, there’s a danger and they need to focus on that.
That is true. He hasn’t directly broached the subject of a relationship with her yet (because the timing is clearly not right). He has said some things that make it obvious he still feels the same for her as he did at the end of 3A but nothing as direct as his Neverland speeches.
As to the Hook is a villain thing I just don’t get it. It is just a reminder that two people can look at the same scene and see things VERY differently. I have read about people interpreting the broken heart scene as Hook being mean to Emma and I just don’t see that at all. I think it is just that some people want Hook to be a villain and will forever interpret all of his lines/actions as having ill intent even when there is obvious evidence to the contrary.
We were talking about this in the What is Hook Hiding thread. I actually think he gave up the JR to get back to Emma.
So you think it is more that Emma is not emotionally ready to hear that Hook made that sort of sacrifice for her? I could buy into that. Holding his cards until it is the right time to play them. It would fit his character.
I took a peek at the What is Hook Hiding thread. I am torn between the CaptainFire theory and the Jolly Roger theory. I think the JR theory is definitely plausible as stated above but I don’t know if that is the whole picture. It still doesn’t answer why the timing perfectly coincided with the curse. I can’t wait to find out 🙂
