    Love this GIF set so much! Neal’s all, “Imma bout to bust up some bad guys because I miss Emma and my boy right now and someone else needs to feel some pain” LOL 😉

    LOL I would love if the writers acutally gave Neal that line…

    A thought popped into my head. Way back, I remembering hearing somewhere Eion Bailey was going to reprise the role of August in 3B. Is that true? Cause they’re nearing the ep. 21 and 22. And there’s been no word. Not sure if this was just speculation but I thought I heard it from the writer’s own mouth. *sigh* I would give anything for some character development for Neal. ANYTHING!!!! 🙁 It’s like begging for scraps from a sad puppy….

    Frankly, I’m already hanging onto the show by a thread, mostly due to watching Neal overcome obstacle after obstacle that’s been thrown his way. To see him killed off would be a huge blow to me. To see him killed off without any resolution to his arc, well, OUAT would lose me as a viewer. I would probably still watch but I won’t be as enthusiastic as I once was, or catch it every Sunday. This depends on the direction of the story

    Neal, who’s had crap thrown at him through no fault of his own, just die without an ounce of feeling loved or having his son by his side, would be incredibly sad and a slap in the face of A&E always totting on and on about HOPE. What they failed to mention was that hope was only reserved for the selected few. I’m not one who shares people’s enthusiasm for Hook, Rumple, and Regina. Yes they are dynamic, but I feel like they’ve had enough second chances at life and love, after choosing to commit evil. If I had my way I would have had them executed already. If I wanted to watch villains always getting the upper hand, I’d watch Game of Thrones. At least they have logical reasoning for their deeds. To constantly see the villains flip flop and the naïve good guys giving them chance after chance, is really sending a bad message, that I can’t be a part of. That it’s alright to commit one evil act and repent later, since there will be no consequences. And then to see doing the right thing gets you killed in the end, just makes my stomach turn, at what society views as important. And yes I do understand that good guys don’t always get happy endings, but at the end of the day, some of the “common” folks like me need a little ray of hope in their lives, and that’s why I turn to watching OUAT. To see that you don’t have to be the most handsome, or smart, or cunning to have happiness in your life.

    You know what the real shocker would be at this point? If Neal wasn’t the one to kick the bucket and the villains wasn’t related by marriage or by blood to the main characters.  If A&E can pull that off I’d totally be shocked.

    I have a small headcanon going that says we’ll find Zelena tailored the “Walsh” disguise for one of her minions specifically to be a bit reminiscent of Neal. (I like this even more with the line Emma uttered about flying monkeys in this past episode. Heh.) She knew they was what would draw Emma (and Henry) in.

    I find that’s no so far-fetch as we think. 😉 I really want to know how a flying monkey can emulate modern day lifestyle so easily. And not have Emma’s super power alarm go off. Not sure if we’ll get that so headcanon accepted!

    This needs to be reposted on this page. x Sir Baelfire, knight of Charming and Snow’s round table and captain of the guard.

    If I don’t see Neal epically swinging his sword at some bad guys in next eppy, there will be blood…

    Even when Henry doesn’t have his real, positive memories of Neal, he still wants to know about his dad. That is just another little hint that what Henry craves deep down is a father figure. I have hope Neal will find his way back to his son.

    Yes I agree. It was interesting to hear Henry ask about his dad, and not even in a sad/angry manner like in the previous episode. Even thought he just knows that his dad left his mom in a horrible situation, he still genuinely wants to know about him. I hope this is a foreshadow of Henry’s arc in finding that father figure he longs for, paralleling Neal’s arc in finding home with his son and Emma. He was on board for Emma to marry Walsh who’s personality and lifestyle is a mirror image to Neal.

    The writers can’t be that cruel to not have Henry see and remember Neal as the father who literally jumped out the window and rode a shadow to find him in Neverland. And it makes me angry to see people call Neal the sperm doner 🙁 It’s insulting and completely not what he is at all. Neal would take a bullet for Emma and Henry without question. He’ll give up his life for Emma and so that Henry won’t be orphaned. That’s the best father you can ask for.

    @RG

    I won’t lie, it’s a good theory. But a convoluted one because of the pacing of the story. I would think that Neal’s character being one of the primary focus from season 1-2 would have some sort of resolution before his death. If he’s indeed going to die. But I’ve yet to see anything that really puts his character arc in that situation of having any resolution to the problems he’s facing currently. We haven’t really gotten that much screen time with him, which tells me that they’re holding back the mystery of Neal’s disappearance a little while longer. It would also take his main arc of “Second Chances” and completely throw it back in the audience’s faces. I mean each character has their own sort of arc attached to them. Emma with finding “Home” Hook with finding Redemption. Regina with finding “2nd Love” etc… Neal’s 3B arc was introduced as second chances. So I can’t see A&E building all that up to have it pull out from under us within 2 episodes. I mean really??? It doesn’t make sense. Unless they hate his character that much.

    Wicked Witch has Rumple, controlling him with the dagger. She forced Rumple to cast this new dark curse, using Neal’s heart. Ultimate revenge (especially if Rumple was her biological father). This would explain why Rumple seems to have gone crazy in Storybrooke. He killed his son.

    I would be lying if I were to say this hasn’t crossed my mind as well. But I just…can’t see them ending the Rumple and Neal story that way. It’s what started the show. To have it come to a close by Rumple murdering his son to cast a curse for a half season villain. After the sacrifice Rumple made in 311, to protect Bae and Belle, this would be a giant slap in the face. And for me personally, would be a loss of a lot of hope. you don’t come back from murdering your child.

    *Rocks back and forth* 🙁 No offense Pan14 but I loath this theory. LOL!  It did kinda cross my mind too, but it feels so abrupt to end Neal’s character arc after ALL that build up since SEASON 1! As if watching Season 1,2, and 3A was for nothing. I doubt they can give him closure within this season, since he wasn’t featured that prominently in this episode. It will feel so convoluted and rushed, after 2 1/2 seasons of development. :/
