SHE ASKED ABOUT HIM TWICE. TWICE!!!!!!! WITHOUT NEEDING PROMPTING.
Yeah I though it was very satisfying to hear Emma ask about Neal without anyone reminding her too. The first person that came across her mind was Neal once she heard people are being taken. And she did it again to remind the fact that NEAL is missing.
Neal is part of the big mystery of what happened to everyone. He’s also tied to Rumple so I won’t be surprised if Zelena uses him to get Rumple to do her bidding. So popular theory is that he’s captured. For a split second I thought I saw someone behind Rumple but not sure. I have to watch it again. *sigh* Stilskin family can’t catch a break indeed!
I did love seeing Neal wielding his sword and HE TOOK OFF HIS CAPE!

I agree with Slurpeez. I think it’s a misdirect. It just feels weird and WAY TOO OBVIOUS, with how Eddy worded “everyone who’s not dead is in Storybrooke” Not to mention the fact that Neal is the most theorized character to die. I just don’t know. You would also think they would feature him a little more in the media, but his and Belle’s storyline has been kept suspiciously quiet. Also Ozma pointed out MRJ and Jen have been filming in 3×15-16 and we saw a hint of Emma wearing the swan pendent in later episode. It makes no sense to build up all this suspense on a character that everyone already predicted to be dead. Saying “Welp he’s dead, he kicked the bucket last year actually!” Sounds really stupid.

new sneak peek! I’m super happy that Emma asked about Neal. Now we can get people off of A&E’s back about Emma not even showing concern for Neal, OMG she doesn’t love him! Yada yada yada.
But!
I’ll admit I’m a little nervous about this new spoiler from TVLine: “We’ve thus far seen the Charmings, of course, and familiar faces such as Regina, Belle, Dr. Whale and Archie pop up in a sneak peek that’s out there. Most simply said, “Everyone who is not dead” was returned by the new curse,” Eddy Kitsis answers.”
Way to freak people out Eddy! T_T *sigh* I’ll admit there are times where my mind may be infected with a slight bit of doubt. But after reading the rest of the spoilers, I’m fairly confident that this season Neal is a big part of the mystery that has to be solved. Along with who cast the cure and who WW is. It smells like season 1’s crime solvers case theme all over again, MM, the heart, Is the curse real? Which I thoroughly enjoyed! YAY!

I thought when Alice said that line is was extremely relevant to what Neal and Emma are experiencing. Especially Emma. They are both caught up with their past, and are too afraid to look forward. Neal was literially stuck in the past and present in Neverland. And when he got to our world he was a loner. Emma also still needs some time to work on that, because we all know Emma’s walls are strong, and her habit is to shut down and hide, not being able to move on from past hurts. This prevents her from moving forward with her life as we’ve seen her constantly running until she got to Storybrook and started to find herself.
My hope is that both Neal and Emma find that lesson in each other.
I really like that they finally revealed Cyrus’s backstory. And I love that they made him have a bit of a wild streak, until he gets punished by being turned into a genie. I feel like he’s not so one-dimensional anymore. He has regret and remorse for the mistakes that he made that cost him his family.
I’m also intrigued that Amara is his mom. Though LOL she looks sooo young to be a mom of a bunch of 20 year olds… Perhaps she has longevity? Did she have magic back when she had her sons with her? I would assume so since she knows so much about magic. And did she keep herself alive just to track her sons down? They made her seem evil since she frighten the villagers and gave Jafar poisoned to kill a man. I want to know more about her backstory.
This thread has more pages than the CS thread! I hope Emma remembers the good stuff Neal has done.

I came across the Rumple and Neal scene from season 2 and re-watched it .

Neal finally letting out his emotions after his and Rumple’s small heart to heart talk, and Emma witnessing all the pain that Neal also went through with his own abandonment. And Emma’s face when she realizes how much pain Neal buried during their time together. This was the moment where I literally could not stop crying. T_T
I really want another scene like this if/when Neal reunites with Emma and Henry. Especially with Henry. Henry may think badly of his father now because of false memories. But when Neal shows the same devotion to him as his did to Rumple and bring back his memories, I will crumple to the floor with tears of happiness. SF aside, I really want to see a father and son reunited.I saw a graphical chart on how much screen time each character gets and I saw Neal’s screen time amount. *sobs* A&E why can’t you give him more!!! WHY?!?! *SOBS* MRJ proves that he can handle emotional moments. My faith in A&E is a constant flip flop just like Regina’s character. I wish I didn’t care so much…
