Woo Hoo more sneak peeks!
I’m loving Neal and Henry more and more.
Ugh Neal…you don’t need a shifty eye woman…. I love you but I’m praying you get back together with Emma.[adrotate group="5"]lunatigerParticipantWhoa Sneak Peek 2! I’m so glad Gepetto spilled the beans about the magic wardrobe. Snow had some darkness in her eyes, she bitch slapped Marco! But I have to say he had that slap coming, what he did was deceitful at the time.
Does that make me dark as well?
lunatigerParticipantPlease someone run a sword through Regina already!!!!
Ugh, you know I wouldn’t be surprised if Henry grows up to be a handsome man and Regina eyes him like she did Owen. I know it’s sickening thought, but I wouldn’t put it pass her at this point.

Favorite moments:
Having the opening scene not about Storybrooke town or Enchanted forest. But a normal kid and his dad. Threw me a little off guard like the episode “Broken” opening scene in Manhatten. It feels refreshing.
Graham stepping out of the car and introducing himself as sheriff. Enough said….
Neal and Henry scene. Very well done father/son bonding moment. And Emma’s “You fell for that??? He’s YOUR son!” line was awesome. Emma and Neal’s parenting banter was just icing on the cake. I just love how these two gel so well with each other even after the messy family reunion. I just know they’re just going to get back together.
Seeing a Groundhog Day scenario in Storybrooke and Regina going crazy having the same routine day after day. Can’t say that I feel sorry for her, she had so many warning bells telling her not to cast the curse but she did it anyway.
Regina barging into Gold’s shop and saying “I’m not happy!” and Gold’s reply “I believe Dr. Hopper’s office is down the street.” That cracked me up. Also seeing for the first time Mr. Gold as just Mr. Gold, no underlying smirk and knowing nothing about magic.
Henry touting how magic ruins everything. The kid is right. He’s just like his dad. Realizing magic just corrupts the good in people.
Kurt telling his son Owen to run for it and reminding him that he will always be there with him, giving him the keychain as a remainder. And then later when Owen comes back with the police and crying after realizing Storybrooke disappeared, never seeing his dad again was such a heartbreaking scene. I really like the child actor. He was really good in this episode.
The last scene where we find out Greg is actually grown up Owen. I knew who he was right when the kid mentioned Star Wars reference in the opening scene. But I love how they weave his back-story to Storybrooke and give him a more meaningful purpose of him being there, not just to wrack havoc and expose the town.
Least Favorite moments:
Snow having a serious guilt trip over defeating her arch enemy. I know she did an underhanded thing to Regina. But I don’t feel the least bit sorry for Regina. She should have gotten her comeuppance 10 episodes ago. I really don’t like that they have a black and white view of good vs evil, yet they make it OK for their evil characters to have shades of grey. Why can’t the good guys have shades of grey as well???
lunatigerParticipantI think Cora and Rumple did love each other but it was a selfish kind of love. Their love was based on revenge and hate. Both saw a kindred spirit in each other because of similar backgrounds. They clung onto each other because they can relate to one another. They had the same blood-lust and darkness in their souls. I agree on what other posters said that Cora loved Rumple but she didn’t love him enough to give up power and wealth. Nothing was ever mentioned about “True Love” between Cora and Rumple throughout the entire episode.
Belle and Rumple’s relationship IS True Love. It is a selfless kind of love. Belle has always put Rumple’s interest ahead of hers and always made sacrifices for Rumple. Rumple’s phone conversation was also an act of selflessness to put Belle first and foremost even as he laid dying on his deathbed. I think this is what True Love means, when both parties are willing to put the other before themselves.
lunatigerParticipantCora: “Royal brides have to be Snow White.”
Rumple: “When you see the future there is irony everywhere.”I love that line.
lunatigerParticipantI LOVED the episode from start to finish! I don’t think there was a least favorite moment for me. Every scene was fantastic.
And please forgive me Rumbelle fans (I am one too), but I thought Rumple and Cora’s affair was pretty darn hot. LOL Probably more because of just Rumple then of him being with Cora. Honestly why can’t the good guys have steamy scenes like that???
But I love the contrast of Rumple’s relationship with Belle and Cora. You can definitely see the difference of love and lust. Which is why Rumple and Belle’s relationship endures because they put the other first before themselves which Rumple demonstrated for the first time over the phone.
If I had to pick my FAV scenes were:
-Belle and Rumple’s phone conversation
-Rumple and Bae’s breakthrough and start to reconciliation
-Cora leaving Rumple heartbroken
-Rumple instructing Emma on Magic is Emotion
-MM holding the candle over Cora’s heart (gave me chills when she whispered Cora’s name!)Least Favorite:
Mah I like them all.lunatigerParticipantYou know the person I feel most sorry for is Henry Sr. He was such a handsome and kind prince but he was used all his life by his father, wife, and daughter. And ultimately his own daughter killed him. Also I think why Regina wasn’t all spoiled and selfish when she was younger was maybe because of Henry Sr.’s influence or what little influence he had over Cora. He still retained his kindness even when he was older. I can only imagine what marriage with Cora is like, it reduced him from a tall proud man to a small timid one.
Such tragedy. The man deserved better.
lunatigerParticipantNo surprise Cora is sassy, even when she’s young. I think her headstrong personality and disdain of her social class, having to live day by day trying not to starve made her very bitter, combined with the humiliation from the royals just added fuel to the fire. I can see a proud woman like her would keep a grudge forever.
I can also see where Cora is coming from. I even feel a tad bit sympathetic to young Cora, but not older Cora of what a monster she’s become. Her backstory doesn’t excuse the fact that she murdered and schemed her way to power. Looking back in the episode “Stable Boy” She could have stopped with just marrying Henry. They seemed very well off and rich, she had magic, but she got too greedy.
I can also see Cora’s point of view with not wanting Regina to marry a lowborn stable boy since she knows what poverty is like, Regina probably does not since she live in a mansion and never had to do hard labor in her life. But killing Daniel went too far in the context of rich controlling mother.
Ah! I really like that they put all these conflicting emotions to all their characters. But I’m still rooting for Snow to just kill Cora for all the evil she’s done.
