It does feel like the writers are purposely crushing all the rumbelle hearts out there but then, I remind myself, that this show loves to give us twists and turns, so for the moment, I’m inclined to think it’s some kind of spell or a dream where Cora kisses Rumpelstiltskin.
I’m going with dream sequence.
This is what I thought, I’m not convinced. I know the Adam and Eddy like to throw us off, and this might be one of those moments. I’m a fan of Rumple and Belle too. But all couples need drama, so I guess thats what they’re trying to do. Don’t worry, they are true love remember, so I’m sure she will get her memory back as well 😀

Hook-Emma so called interaction, it’s gross beyond everything. Is this, as they claim, a “family show”? I understand the writers are trying to feed the Hookers but this just lacks any taste.
What is it with so many people attacking the writers over little things-especially to do with Hook and Emma. If its not because they are ‘favouring Captain Swan’ then its ‘Hook has too many innuendos’. Anyway this show is rated PG -meaning Parental Guidance, which is pretty self explanatory. If it was rated G then yeah, I’d have a problem.
magic beanParticipantIn that sneak peek with the charmings talking about Cora and Regina, they said that Regina is no where to be found. So maybe Cora turns Regina back into the 'evil queen', so Rumple and Emma must team up to defeat them. And that scene where Cora and Rumple kiss..well.. I'm not convinced, it could be anything, even a dream..And if something similar to this happens, maybe Hook will be forced to pick a side.
Maiqu20 : You said Hook is ‘not a bad guy deep down’. So i’m almost positive that he will make the right decison and decide to team up with the ‘good’ side, since he does have a heart – behind all that pain and vengence. Also if he went back to Cora I dont think it would end well. She is a selfish woman and she doesnt need him anymore.
magic beanParticipantOhh.. Ok. Thanks so much! 😀

I have a theory on Captain Hook. Remember in spoilers, where Hook is supposed to fall into a righteous crowd ( https://oncepodcast.com/forums/search.php?keywords=righteous+crowd?
In the article, it is “the wrong (meaning righteous) crowd”…”quite violently”.
What if Hook did die in that accident and the reason they've been coy about Captain Swan is because they won't be lovers. What if, he will be her guardian angel? I'm starting to think the righteous crowd might be angels.
My anticipation has been so high, if that’s where this is going, I will feel incredibly let down.
I don’t think that’s possible. Anyway it has already been confirmed that Hook will develop feelings for Emma. I thought that it was already established on here (what with all the ‘hook will die’ posts) that Hook won’t die. The writers arent stupid, because of Hook the shows become more popular. And also because they’re setting up Hook and Emma, which wont work if he’s an ‘angel’.
‘The wrong crowd’ (in my opinion) might mean that he is thrown into the good side. Seeing as he has no other place to go, or no other ‘friends’ than Emma.magic beanParticipant@Hellraiser-89 wrote:
Rumple has his magic now. He can’t be killed unless with the dagger. Hook knew that so why would he have shot at Rumple knowing it wouldn’t have effect?
He had a hook and a hand.. Even when Rumple put his hand on his chest and leaned in he could’ve very easily wither punched him or stabbed him with his hook. Both would’ve hurt Rumple enough for Hook to get out of that situation. Even if he knew that shooting him would not have had effect, in my opinion, it would be a natural instinct to do whatever possible and use whatever in reach to get out of a situation such as this.
The fact that he didn’t even try anything, not even lifting his hook, (in my opinion) means that in that moment he realised that killing Rumple or hurting him as he hurt Hook would not satisfy him enough and take away his constant pain. I think in that he moment he realised that he was perfectly happy being killed by Rumple and being reunited with Milah.I agree that Hook wanted to show Belle how evil Rumple is, which was probably another motive. But I think his main goal was to be killed.
And this is completely off topic, but I was wondering..do you think that Rumple actually loved Milah? Because I don’t know if his anger at Hook is because he (in his eyes) took Milah away from his son, or took his wife that he loved. 😕
magic beanParticipantHe most definately will switch sides, its pretty obvious. For those saying that he has shown ‘no redeeming qualities’… you are watching Once Upon a Time..right? 😉 Look, I’m not going to try to persuade you and explain how he will be redeemed and what has been shown to us that tell us he will be -theres no point. But when it does happen, I’m sure you’ll look back and realise all the little hints we’ve been given and the not to subtle ones as well that point to Hook being redeemed in the future 😀
magic beanParticipantThanks Nonnie!
magic beanParticipantcould you please give me a link to the podcast?
magic beanParticipantonceuponamirror: I agree. Hook even said so himself that he wants to be reunited with Milah. Its very obvious that he is unable to live with the constant pain of her death anymore. He is not a coward- far from it. He lives by his code, as you said, so he wants to die in battle/while fighting so it isnt cowardly.
So yes..he is most definately suicidal. -
