GAH! Me too! Rumpel and Regina are my two favorite characters, so the idea of them teaming up is like a dream come true!
No, not really. Most of the Disney films still retain their old magic and are still some of my favorite films of all time. But I do agree that any future adaptations of the fairytales run the risk of not living up to my OUAT standards. If Snow doesn’t have a sword, I’ll be pissed. If Charming isn’t a humble farm boy, I’ll be pissed. If the Evil Queen doesn’t have a sympathetic backstory, I’ll be pissed. And if Belle isn’t in love with a crazy magic man, I’ll be pissed.
This show has given me extremely high expectations. 😆
From what I saw, it appeared that Belle left Mr. Gold because he wasn’t honest with her and was still practicing magic behind her back. So, she felt the need to take a break from him. But like Elle just stated, the main reason why the break up came off as a little sudden was because of the lack of screentime. There’s so many characters and storylines on the show that some storylines are going to suffer from a lack of screentime. But I’m not too worried. The way Belle and Gold left off in “The Crocodile” made it seem like they would eventually get back together. Probably by the end of the season. 😉
PHEW! Ok, now in regards to Neal and Emma, I hope Jane continues to write for them. She has a good track record with OUAT and she really knows how to write good romance. It’s no coincidence that my two favorite ships were created by her. 😀
