Just watched the scene and there is no baby in it. Mary Margret had her hands in her coat pocket. So I assume the babies are still with the fairies. I only hope that when they return the fairies refuse to give up custody on grounds of neglect and abandonment.
When was any baby left with any fairy? I haven’t seen any fairies around for several seasons now — the last being Nova and the backstory between her and Grumpy. Other than the occasional guest appearance of Blue Fairy, I’ve not seen any other fairy. And Keb, thanks for reminding me about Robin’s other 5yo kid. I forgot about him.

Henry was walking behind Emma.
Mary Margaret was holding baby Neal. (spelling? Neil?)Which leaves Zelena’s baby. Seriously, what is her name? I am old and cannot remember these things.
Slurpeez pretty well summed up my confusion at this outcome. (In that…the parents in OUaT have been pretty consistent in their protection from any harm to their respective children.)
malchoreParticipantWow, this show is bad. I didn’t realize it was going to be a musical, although thinking back at the various commercials leading up to the pilot that should have been apparent.
I strongly dislike musicals.

Like: Season 4 – The New (Old) Bad Gal. (Regina again.)
LOVE: the Princess Leia lines were pretty funny.Dislike: Not much. Their interaction with Rumple was surprising. Rumple wouldn’t just let them go so easily.

… then I’m thinking [certain] metals from here are able to put some kind of stop a person’s ability to produce magic. Which then would probably mean that Regina’s body has to be creating magic itself (or stopping her from getting it elsewhere).
I think it is the flow of electricity that “inhibits” magic. At least that’s how I think the show will eventually explain it. Greg/Tamara had to get that cuff/bracelet around Regina’s wrist, and once she was in range activate it somehow to get a flow of electricity around it.
This flow of electricity has to envelope a person completely; fully surround them (in some way) in order to inhibit magic. (the reason why the bracelet had to be fully clamped around Regina’s wrist.) That would explain why Regina and Gold could use cell phones, drive cars and use computers without it interrupting their magic.

I actually thing they are more Physics and weird engineering because of their weird tools i.e. manipulating the cuff, the tazer, electro-shock therapy… all screams engineering to me.
Ya. You ever seen the 2008 movie Jumper? In that movie, a kind of high-voltage lasso was used to inhibit a jumper’s ability to jump – i.e. to teleport instantly through space to anywhere on the planet. I’m kinda thinking that is the direction OUaT is going.

Interesting Bae fell into Victorian-era London. That is at most 180 years ago. I always thought Gold took the powers of The Dark One about 300 years ago. Okay interesting to get a clear(er) sense of years involved; half as many as I thought.
Unless Baelfire fell through a time-warp and “crossed time and space” as Rumple said he did in “The Return.” If Rumple designed the curse to locate Bae in A Land Without Magic, as it seem Bae came through into our world, then Rumple must’ve expected to find Bae alive and well, despite the significant passage of time. If that’s the case, then I wonder if Rumple also knew Neal spent time in NL, on the run, so to speak.
Oh geez I hope they don’t go in that direction. That would veer the show too much toward a Sci-Fi direction.
I already have issues with the way the show takes liberty with amazing — I would say unbelievable — coincidence.

Also again, can’t Emma tell when Tamara lies?
It has been theorized a few times on this podcast that when Emma is emotional, her lie detector ability seems to fail. And she was emotional, with that strange “I will not let this happen in vain!” line, before she walked home with Henry, ignoring the police station. 😆 (Actually, so did David. And he’s the acting sheriff 😯 )
Tamara must have witnessed the Blue Fairy restoring August to Pinocchio. And Emma kinda yelled at Neal about “the whole world knowing about magic in our town.” So Emma is aware that Tamara witnessed magic. Maybe Emma will use her power as Sheriff to intimidate Tamara and get her to leave town.
malchoreParticipantI think August sealed his fate when he told Tamara “You want to see magic? Well you just hit the mother load here in Storybrooke.” or words to that effect. Confirming to Tamara that her search is over meant she no longer needed August.
malchoreParticipantThis whole topic gives me a headache. 😥 I can’t follow this crazy family tree 🙂
