Hmm…I’m thinking the zombies could be those people that where consumed by the wraith. But which world did we see, FTL or Storybrooke?
[adrotate group="5"]malchoreParticipantI felt that portion of the episode (Red/Anita) was written in a hurry and it just fell flat with me. In the future, I’m just going to say “OK so that happened.”
I get that Red had to make a choice – Stay with Anita and explore her inner wolf (thus loosing her humanity) or save Snow (killing her mother in the process.) The choice was Wolf or Human. She ended up with the best of both worlds – Retain her humanity AND control the of the inner wolf. She left David’s apartment without the cloak – which I was kinda shocking to me.

But WHY? Why wouldn’t she want Snow and Emma here?
Or possibly, why doesn’t she want to GO HOME? If she did turn evil, she’s about to have the power of fairy dust again so she might be a new enemy.
malchoreParticipantThe thing about the hat is…Spencer HAD to be informed by someone who was present in the mines. Spencer knew a lot of information that he in no way should have known, like the hat being a portal and that it was David’s only hope to bring MM and Emma back. Someone present at the mine when the diamonds were discovered had to have tipped off Spencer.
And I didn’t even think of it, but Ruby’s cloak is another excellent point.
By the way, who in the world would leave all that evidence IN THEIR OWN CAR? When smart characters do astonishingly stupid stuff is when I start thinking about plot holes. (Or in this case, a convenient way for the writers to inform the Heroes who the real Bad Guy was.) In any case it pulls me out of my suspension of disbelief.
A bad twist to all of this could be that the Blue Fairy predicted (or “glimpsed”) all of this and tipped off Spencer in order to set these events in motion. Her way of “fighting evil” without the aid of her fairy magic. But I don’t want to accept the Blue Fairy has gone Bad, so I’m finding ways to keep her on the side of Good.
Where has Nova been lately? Shouldn’t she and Grumpy be looking for each other? You’d think a guy that ugly would be sprinting around town searching for a babe like Nova or something 😀
malchoreParticipantYeah, great question. I was scratching my head on that one (when he pulled it out of his coat.) Maybe one of the dwarves double-crossed David? whatever happened to Sneezy after he crossed the new storybrooke border? They brought him back into town – so he’s a possibility. Was he at the mine in this episode do you recall?
malchoreParticipantThis was already stated in the initial reactions podcast tonight, but it was one of two things: Either it was the drawing of The Dark One’s Dagger (with Rumpelstiltskin etched on it), or it was something else, something magical. I don’t remember Pinocchio carrying anything with him as he was placed into the wardrobe before be transported to Earth. (Maybe something in his pocket that we didn’t see.)
If it was the drawing of the dagger, then that is proof positive that Neal is Baelfyre. It seems odd to me, though, that August would have any knowledge of Baelfyre, and therefore why would he think a paper with a drawing of a dagger on it would totally convince someone to listen to his crazy story?
malchoreParticipantUh, I think the tiny hot pants that Ruby was wearing that night in the dinner (forcing Whale’s attention away from MM) played a role. Certainly caught my attention. 😉

Grace found the hat, “played” with it and ended up activating it, flushing her down into the portal. Jefferson goes in after her, finds her and rescues her, and swears never to use the hat again.

Granny had the cloak originally. She gave it to Ruby.
malchoreParticipantCrest1994 – But Emma was the savior. It was her curse to break, We were told that all season long.
