wonder if we are going to meet all of the people Hook has murdered.
I feel like the writers are banging us over the head repeatedly to get our collective attention. All this talk of Cora, Daniel, the many villagers Regina ‘s killed and now with Hook mentioning the two men he murdered plus Liam, there is bound to be considerable payoff. I have to say, I’m REALLY enjoying this Dark Emma arc.
Does anyone get the impression that Merlin may have known all along that Killian would turn dark? Merlins claim that he saw “bits and pieces” of future events along with his insistence to Emma not to pull the sword from the stone because of dire consequences sends a red flag. I also got the impression from Merlins demeanor when Killian was speaking to either him or Emma that things were serious. When they first met Merlin in Granny’s a few episodes ago he was jovial until Killian addressed him directly and then the smile was wiped from his face. He was also staring intently at Emma and Hook while they were saying their goodbyes before the trek to find Prometheus’ flame. He may not have known the ways and whys of it but I think Merlin has known the outcome of Dark Killian all along.
[adrotate group="5"]Hook has been pretty angry this season in Storybrooke, lots of yelling and arguing and was quite happy to make Arthur pay for lying to them (this was before he knew of his Dark One status) If he’s not sleeping, he can write it off as being worried about Emma (which is perfectly reasonable. I’m sure they’ve only had a couple days back in SB after being in Camelot) And without Dark Ones in his head pushing him into using his Darkness, again he can write it off as his own personal demons giving him dark thoughts. But once he’s been shown it’s not his own thoughts, he can indulge. And why try and use magic if you don’t know you have it? Emma needed to be really pushed for her magic to surface the first time.
I agree. And you’ve made some excellent points. I also think that along with the memory loss, Killians dark powers were tethered to Excalibur which until episode 7 was still in the stone. Perhaps his darker impulses were muted because the stone camouflaged the power that the sword was holding.
I also don’t believe he’s going to go all “dark one crazy” on Emma as the promo is leading us to believe. There’s more to the missing 3 weeks and all that talk about “love having to forgive anything” (or whatever the exact quote is) has to come back around.

Poor Adam and Eddy can’t seem to make anyone happy lately. Everyone’s got these headcanons on where the story should be going and when that doesn’t happen as expected the bashing starts. Plot holes? Sure, but its a fantasy show and sometimes its just more enjoyable to sit back and take it for what it is. My only big complaint about season 4 is the lack of meaningful dialog between the regulars. Maybe they should rethink doing the whole split season big bad and concentrate on the core cast. But, whatever. I haven’t been on fanform in a while. I’ll go check out their take on the last epi.
Anyway, I finally caved in an set up a tumbr acct. Don’t know if I’m going to keep it (or I may just hand it over to my daughter since her friends seem to be setting up accts). I’ll see how it goes. @obisgirl and @Lady, I just followed both of you.

Ummm, not really? I think there are enough CS forums around if anyone is interested in going elsewhere. fanforum.com as you mentioned is good and respectful of all ships. forums.previously.tv/forum/236-once-upon-a-time/ has LOADS of CSers representing (I’ve seen @bo_peeps posting there). Both are good for any OUAT discussions that are not necessarily ship related. I’m back in lurking mode for the most part.
Greeting fellow shippers! Though I’ve been a long-time listener of the podcast and fan of the show, this is my first time posting to the forum. I love reading so many of the theories going on in the rest of the forums, and am super excited about what the end of this season may bring. This being the Captain Swan thread, and my being an avid CS shipper, I mostly just wanted to say hi to my fellow shipmates, and see if anyone has any other thoughts as to what may be in store for our ship as the season comes to a close. I’ve seen some really interesting theories based on the spoilers, and was curious if there were any other thoughts about where things may be heading, especially with regards to Captain Swan. Good news from @captainEala, if you follow her blog you probably know that she’s going to see The Enemies play live in Drogheda on Friday night and apperantly, Colin will be joining them onstage. Hopefully she’ll get a chance to meet him 🙂
