Haha @callmeLola they used to show that miniseries every year where I am…didn’t really get the attraction to Chamberlin but yeah it definitely skewed how an impressionable Catholic girl viewed the handsome priest at church!
Yeah, well fortunately none of my priests ever looked like Richard Chamberlain, or Lord help me, Colin 🙂
Yeah…I don’t know if I could watch The Rite…Colin as a priest…my head might explode! (I saw the miniseries The Thorn Birds at a very impressionable age…)
Oh God……………. The Thorn Birds!!! My very religious mother had a bad crush on Richard Chamberlain. I feel skeevy just thinking about it *shivers* YUCK!!!!!
I wasn’t particularly impressed by The Rite either, but mostly, I think because they advertised the movie as a horror film and it wasn’t. Colin was good; I didn’t know who he was at the time. I don’t think his performance should have been panned because of the material he was given. Even Sir Anthony couldn’t save that film.
As for the CMA’s, I’m not a country fan but I’m willing to watch cause he might actually be there 🙂

I hope I get to meet him, and I am close. I’m just two hours away from Nashville. That said, I won’t be going up there unless I hear news that it’s okay for fans to visit the movie set. Meeting Colin would be a dream come true, but nobody’s going to catch me holding onto a fence with my tounge hanging out.

A fan already got a pic of him on the plane, so maybe some Nashville fans will be happy to post pics of filming as they happen. Poor Colin can’t hide anywhere 🙂
