ParticipantThank you for posting thst essay @surayya. It needed to be said, but unfortunately the people who really need to read it dont care. The author of that peice is right, all that hate would be better served by channelling it toward something more positive (and non -fictional.)

ParticipantThanks POM. I needed that after the garbage I just saw on Twitter. The level of stupidity out there just astounds me.

ParticipantAlthough heck, maybe Milah is Elsa’s second cousin once removed or her bastard half-sister or something, haha.
Hahahah, please, just NO.
I’d like to join the not hating on Milah crew. I had no real sympathy for her as a character at first, but seeing her with Rumple and in love changed my mind. . We saw Milah as a happy and proud housewife/lover and as a bitter and bitchy drunk and no in-between. We have no backstory to see what drove this woman. Does abandoning your family justify murder? Never. My gripe with Rumple here is that he showed no regret or remorse in killing her in cold blood. This wasn’t some nameless villager or dukes man, this was the woman he married and the mother of his child. It’s unfortunate, but we see this happen all too often even now. Women loose their lives for choosing to be independent or speaking out. And this is the world that I’m sending my girls out to face. Scary.
The irony is that Belle, lovely Belle who is willing to forgive anything, got to be all snarky with Hook and Regina over their treatment of her (and rightfully so) and they apologised for it. Does Milah get a second thought? Or how about an apology to Hook for his hand? Nope. Twue wuv not only breaks curses but has the ability to sweep malicious deeds under the rug.
You know, my daughters teacher had a great idea. It was a long winter, the kids were cooped up and getting all nasty with one another so she had the class do an apology circle. All this kids got a chance to face the classmates they felt had disrespected them or had made nasty comments to and everyone had to opportunity to say “sorry”. And you know what, that’s all it took to make things right. Okay, so we’re not dealing with 12 year olds on Ouat, but sometimes the characters act like it. The first step to redemption is admitting your wrongdoings and then being forgiven.
those two actors just went for it on the set. You know it was really like-we just wrote that and they just kind of-you know..
And what great acting it was!!! Wonder if JMo needs another stand in for next season? Happy to volunteer!!!!!

ParticipantWithout having to revisit the whole “rape culture” debate again, since I think we’ve all stated our opinions on that sore subject, I’m posting this link here for your perusal. Some excellent points are made.

ParticipantOh God, @surayya, that cracked vid was HILARIOUS!!!!! “The moment when you literally NEED this show to be on HBO” HAHAH all the CS shippers went “GOD YES!!!!!!!”
“
1) When did you start shipping CS-
2) When did you start believing that Emma loves Hook/Killian?
3) When did you just know they were endgame?Number one is easy, Tallahassee. That whole epi was a perfect example of why Emma and Hook worked well together as a couple. And it was nice seeing Emma respond to a hot man with a spark of interest, even though it scared the crap out of her. It did set the pace for their relationship. “Everything you need is right in front of you” said Hook with a satisfied smirk on his face, while Emma looked on dumbstruck.
2. Hard to answer. Seems that she’s been slowly falling for him this whole time, but circumstances always got in the way. The fact that she constantly leaned on him and more importantly listened to him when they were in NL gave the impression that the feelings were there, but buried deep. They were all too busy #savinghenry after all. But the “Good” in the winter finale convinced me that she loved him. Once Emma had her memories and was back in SB, she was too intent on running away to see a future with Killian there but I do believe that she loved him the whole time. I don’t think Emma let herself admit that she loved him until the season 3 finale.
3. Well, I hoped they were endgame from the beginning. I liked Neal in Manhattan and thought perhaps they would explore that relationship further but all the episodes after that one didn’t really show him in a favourable light. The Season 2 finale cemented the idea that Killian and Emma were endgame for me.
