@jenven, had we known NY would be mentioned in EVERY SINGLE EPISODE this half season, we could have had a drinking game going on. Lord knows I needed a hit from the bottle after the last 3 episodes 🙂 I’m not as angry today as I was Sunday night after the episode. I get it. Emma’s default setting is her denial and lashing out at those who she sees as a threat to her personal reality. I’m just waiting for the line JMO promised us about Hook saying something about not chasing after her anymore. Emma needs to chase him, dammit!!!

Hook and Belle aren’t stupid for thinking with their hearts instead of their heads. It’s heartwarming to see that kind of faith in a cynical world. If their brains were involved, however, Emma and Rumple would have had their butts kicked out the door long ago. You can’t change a person, Emma and Rumple both have to hit rock bottom before they realize that they each could lose the person that cares for them.
[adrotate group="5"]@surayya. I saw that gif of the CPR on tumblr as well which begs the question, did Emma actually lose her magic? The “ring” of light is what we usually see when a curse has been broken was apparent in the gif. Emma says she lost her magic but didn’t even attempt to check. With Emma its always a question of belief so if she believes the magic is gone then it won’t work. In fact, she looked pretty happy in the last scene with Hook when he asked her about it. In her mind if she doesn’t have magic then she’s free of the “saviour” title. Was it TLK? No it was badly done CPR that brought him back because magic didn’t drown him, but maybe TLK did break his curse.
I have one leg up in the optimist band wagon right now but the rest of my body is still clinging to the pessimist go-cart.
Oh I have no doubt that she’ll get them back and for sure no one will be going to NY. I’m just perplexed as to why she still thinks that Henry would even want to go.
