ParticipantRumple is out of town and Belle does not remember having a true love. Maybe it’s time for Belle to have a meaningless fling with that Greg guy.
Also I’ll take Jorge Garcia in anything, He is an awesome actor and the more I see of him the better.

Participanthot water (not boiling) + a boat load of salt + citrus juice
mix it all in one cup and gargle every hour or so.
it won’t cure you, it will just clear your throat long enough for you to be able to audition.

There’s lots going on with the First Nations in Canada, Marilou? I had no idea… no seriously, I don’t listen to the news or anything… Do you mean there is new current stuff, or just in the past decade there has been a lot?
There was also a huge forgiveness tour that went around Canada that I think was huge progress with the First Nations.
They’re already screwing around with stereotyping and Mulan, so I am sure they can get around pushing any buttons.
I can’t tell if you are being sarcastic or not! no seriously! so I’m just gonna go ahead and assume that you are not.
– Chief Spence has been on a hunger strike for 30-31 days right now. She want Stephen Harper and Gov. general Johnston to sit at the same table to discuss aboriginal rights. Her passion in her cause has rekindled the flame of the “idle no more” movement. (google that one) wich includes things like the price of the food being considerably higher for the first nations/Rape and abuse/no education available and what not. The problem is, now the “white” man acknowledges the issues of the first nations and is standing behind them as our prime minister is only embarassing himself by not doing anything about it and letting Chief Spence die.

Belle getting shot and loosing her memory. I feel like the writers have some beef against rumbelle this season. They are going to suffer as much as possible before they have some peace together and a happy ending.
I thought Belle loosing her memory was a brilliant move! It would be a lousy tv show if everything and everyone was always peachy all the time. The writers clearly love Rumbelle since they are willing to dedicate precious minutes with Rumple trying to give Belle her memory back and after that mending their relationship.
We will finally get to see all those moments we didn’t get at the beginning of the season.

It has bugged me from the beginning that they are including Mulan in this series because her story (in the Disney movie) was based on events that happened in true life (the huns really existed and while the movie obviously took some liberties, the story of Mulan has existed in the Chinese culture as well). Additionally, while I love Jamie Chung and think she is doing an amazing job, she is not Chinese and I really hate when casting directors or whoever chooses who is going to play who lumps all Asians together.
I have to disagree with you, the part should not go to whoever has the right ethnicity, the part should go to the better actor.
That’s like saying Canadian should not play american characters or vice versa “I hate it when casting directors lumps all white people together”. Or on greater extent, homosexual actor should only be allowed to play homosexual characters… it’s just not a good logic to use.
Besides, if they only look for actors of chinese descent, they will considerably reduce the pool of potential candidate. After all, they did make Lancelot black… I didn’t hear anyone complaining about that. so what’s the big deal if she is not chinese?

ParticipantI think we might have to wait for awhile before we get to see Pocahontas. How do you portray someone from the first nations without getting stereotypical? With everything that is happening right now (I don’t know about the united state but here in Canada there is a lot going on right now with the first nations… political turmoil and all) I feel like dear Pocahontas and John Smith fall into the “lets not stir up trouble category”. How about we wait and see? Let the dust settle down before we start glamorizing the rape of a 13 years old girl by a colon.
Not that I don’t agree with your theory or anything, in fact I find it quite interesting and possible… just… not right now.
