Hook is a fun character portrayed by a pretty actor but in my mind, we need to let his story play out and get him off the show. That scene, in 2X09, does not allow for any redemption. He hit and was ready to kill a human just because they were useless to him. No matter which way you try to spin it, it is non-justified violence (granted, no violence is never ever justified in real life but we’re talking about a TV show). In comparison, I doubt Rumple and Regina go about their day killing random peasant simply because they will make no use of them. It truly pains me to say it because I liked Hook, now, no matter how much sob story you paint on him, it’s just not gonna cut it anymore. He has cross into “sociopath lad and there’s nothing anyone can do about it.
