So, i was parousing perez hilton (guilty pleasure) and I saw this:
Yes! The townsfolk DO remember their lost identities, and season two begins with Snow White and Prince Charming thanking their savior-daughter Emma for breaking the curse!
And of course, Emma is super weirded out.
In another part of town, Belle pleads with Mr. Gold AKA Rumpelstiltskin not to kill Evil Queen Regina for imprisoning the beauty for 28 years…. which he KINDA does in his tricksy, sneaky way.
There is a new evil in town and it takes the form of a SCURRYYY, soul-sucking wraith! New characters Mulan and Sleeping Beauty are also seen in possible flashback form, escaping this super creepy beast.
The Charmings stop the townspeople from lynching Regina, and they also all agree to NOT let the Wraith attack the once powerful Queen.
Far away in the land of NYC, some unknown figure receives a Storybrooke postcard with one word written on the back: Broken.
In the final moments, we see the Queen regain some of her power, and two Storybrooke residents face imminent danger…
That is a LOT of information.
[adrotate group="5"]was it Jane Espenson who said in the Skin Deep commentary that the hat in rumple’s collection could be either from the sorcerer’s apprentice or harry potter? They wanted the interpretation of said hat to be left to the viewer.
They keep using the Storybrook names because 28 years is a long time. Some characters have spent more time in SB than they have spent in FTL. (i think most of this business will be address in the episode “We are Both”
the main thing that comes to mind is Grace. Jefferson was her father in FTL but there is, what appears to be, a lovely family that took care of her for 28 years. That counts for something. I’m sure she will be happy to see Jefferson but she spent almost 3 times as much time with her Storybrook family than with Jefferson.
Just because the curse is broken does not mean those 28 years did not happen.
… Side note: the plot thickens! no one knows who Dr. Whales is… maybe he is not from FTL, maybe he is from a different realm.

Faux Pax, how does Gold relate to henry? are we just already assuming that BAE is henry's father? or is it something else that i’ve missed?
