I never thought of the “please” as being magically binding.
When Gold is in jail and ask Regina to PLEASE sit, she sits down with her own free will. Yes, she made a deal with Rumple that she would listen to him whenever he says please, but that does not mean she didn’t have a choice to break that deal.
And yes because of the wording use, I think Regina still has to obey when Gold uses the word please even if they now remember being in FTL, they are still in the new land.

yeah, I realize that… you are right! it’s just…I wish he had to work a little harder for her, you know what I mean? Gold thought she was dead and Jefferson almost literally threw her in his arms. Then POUF! They remember who they use to be and hug it out? com’on! Our glittery friend needs to do a bit of courtship and begging.
besides, I am dying to see Belle as a character on her own. No King Maurice, no Gaston and no Rumplestiltskin. I wonder what kind of hobby she would take up, that kind of stuff.
