Ana trying to hold on to her courage. I’ve been harsh on her in the past but I kinda love her now
Which I still don’t quite get since her similarities to Rumpel are just as strong as her similarities to Regina and Cora, but whatever, it’s in the past.
My favorite parts where Anastasia vs. Jabberwocky, the reveal of Amara being Cyrus’ mother, the reveal of Anastasia being Cinderella’s stepsister, and Cyrus actually getting character development beyond just being Alice’s love.
I predict that Will’s heart is required to change the laws of magic, and that Anastasia will be the one to die (until the laws of magic are changed, that is…thanks, 3×13 spoiler pics of her waking up!)
[adrotate group="5"]Mark AthertonParticipantI predict Red Queen might sacrifice herself to free Will from the bottle. Then Will and Liz will end up together.
Liz is too minor a character for that to really work (plus there’s no evidence Will feels that way for her, or even if Liz really feels that way for him or if it’s just platonic), and the pictures shown of Anastasia lying still on a bed has two shots, the second of them being a close up on her face and her eyes opening, so any sacrifice she makes won’t be permanent.
Mark AthertonParticipantI’d like to see him return but as a redeemed Pan. Free to be good and become the Peter Pan that we all remember from the real story.
Right. And Hook should go back to being evil just to be true to “the real story”.
While we’re at it: Red Riding Hood shouldn’t be a werewolf, the Evil Queen shouldn’t be morally conflicted, the Mad Hatter shouldn’t be a father, Frankstein’s monster shouldn’t be his brother, and Rumpelstiltskin shouldn’t be the Beast or the Crocodile or Cinderella’s fairy godmother.
See the problem here? OUAT’s Peter Pan being evil makes him unique, let’s let him keep that, shall we?
How did the Lost Boys get GOAT to do their dirty work?
That one was answered already: John and Michael. They were the ones who staged the phony anti-magic movement and served as the go-betweens to GOAT and the Lost Boys (the Lost Boys contact John and Michael with instructions, then John and Michael relay those instructions to GOAT and any other members their sham of an organization may possess, claiming they come from “the Home Office”.)
Mark AthertonParticipantSo the Pan is gone. As I have said before Peter Pan is not a man who became a powerful monster, he a monster who became powerful. Pan is truly pure Evil for he lacks the one thing that even our other Villains had. He could not love. Every other Villain before him in ONCE could love. Regina loved Henry. Rumple loved Bae and later Belle. Cora loved Regina. Hook loved Milah. Greg and Tamarah, loved each other. But Pan loved no one (Except himself) and had only desires for power in his heart and did wish to share it with anyone else or use it to help someone he loved. In the end he was a selfish brat who only wanted things for himself and in the end that was his undoing.
You forgot to mention King George and that he loved his original “son”; the deleted scene with Albert Spenecer in “Tiny” really emphasized this.
Mark AthertonParticipantI was heartbroken for a while, but I got over it quickly simply because there is NO way in Hades that they’re keeping him dead.
Mark AthertonParticipantThey said on-air that it would return in March, so I can’t see them waiting until Summer after that.
Mark AthertonParticipantMark Atherton wrote: How so? He made just as many wrong moves as her, both before she broke his heart (remember Robin Hood?) and after (breaking others’ hearts, like Silvermist, plus who knows what else that got him so wanted).
She betrayed him in a very personal way, on a whim, for her own selfish gains. Any untoward things either of them have done against anyone else isn’t the issue IMO, it’s the way in which she personally betrayed him. You just don’t do that to someone if you truly love them, and he deserves someone who truly loves him, who he can trust to not just up and abandon him when someone offers her some pretty jewels.
First off, you’re simplifying Ana’s issues to “on a whim” and “just for pretty jewels”. You’re forgetting that she had a mother who pushed her her whole life to achieve status, and while she was rebelling by dating Will, that kind of upbringing doesn’t fade easily. We may even get a flashback showing just how hard it was, especially if Cinderella really is her sister.
Also, what’s a big theme of Once? Redemption. Ana is truly SORRY for what she did and is trying to make up for it. She’s gone about it in a terrible, wrong way, but it still shows she’s remorseful and never wants to betray him like that again.
By your logic, Belle should never take Rumpel back after all the selfish betrayals he’s pulled on her (which by my count is 4, in “Skin Deep”, “Broken”, “The Crocodile”, and “Lacey”). But she does, because he’s remorseful for each time and wants to make it up to her. So if Will gets his heart back, and she plays a big part in getting it back and helping defeat Jafar, then she deserves a second chance.

Mark AthertonParticipantNot gonna lie, I’ll be a bit pissed if they have Will and Ana end up together again in the end. He deserves better than her.
How so? He made just as many wrong moves as her, both before she broke his heart (remember Robin Hood?) and after (breaking others’ hearts, like Silvermist, plus who knows what else that got him so wanted).
If both of them truly work and make up for what they’ve done to themselves and to others, which Will has been doing and Ana seems in the position of starting to do, they definitely deserve to be together.
Most likely. Ana and Will are I think end game, especially in a 13 episode series that is not going to be renewed. So I hope they close out her story well. Maybe she and Ana talk about Will and his heart and Liz makes Ana promise not to break it again before Liz hands it over.
Yeah, I want to see an Ana/Liz relationship (not like that, get your mind out of the gutter!) and have the latter be instrumental in the former changing her ways. I enjoy seeing potential love triangles get subverted like that.
Mark AthertonParticipantSo, basically…
Episode 9 = Lizard returns.
Episode 10 = Cyrus origin.
Episode 11 = Cora appearance.
Episode 12 = Storybrooke.
Episode 13 = Ending.
Can’t wait!
Mark AthertonParticipantI think Jafar CAN die, but I doubt he WILL. My bet on his final fate is that it’ll be the same one from the movie: become a genie and get sealed away. That way it leaves an opening for him to get unleashed in OUAT.
