So this would make Odysseus Rumpel’s dad. He can be seen as a coward, his travels lead many of his crew to their deaths as he slipped out every time. He was cunning, like Rumpel, depending on his wit to get him out of sticky situations.

Now I don’t remember it all… I will have to brush up on Mythology, but so far it seems a perfect fit.

I would love them to incorporate greek mythology, but I have been studying about the Trojan war, and I don’t think rumpels dad to be like Hector, Hector was brave, cunning was able to drive back the greek army with just ares on his side. also for a fact the greeks threw his infant son off a mountain or a palace, that being said I could seeing him be like paris, who was cast out by his father because of a prophecy that he would destroy troy one day, and well didn’t do much fighting in the war except with Menelaus which he had Aphrodite’s help with, I don’t think they mention him having a son, but there is various endings to paris and Helen, could rumple be his son and Helen had to hid him from the greeks so gave him the spinners to raise, after paris died a coward

I think is what happened- the block stuff from season 2
first rumple tells regina gives the curse to her
then she trades it to malicent for the sleeping curse
then when rumple suggests it, regina tells snow white and charming about the curse on their wedding day
that night regina goes to malicent and steals the curse from her
over the next 9 months ( based on snow begins pregent) regina gathers up ingrediants for the curse and tries to enact it she also sends to hook to go kill her mother and brings her back, then when she fails with the curse, she goes to rumple who was imprisoned over the last couple of months and then kills her father after her mother then uses his heart to enact the curse.

I agree. I think the prophecy involving Henry will be the surprise “price” Rumpel is forced to pay for creating the curse. He’ll fight to keep Henry pure, but in the end, he might have to sacrifice himself to secure Henry’s safety. Maybe that will be his redemption at the end of the series? 😥

I don’t know if the prophecy is about Henry, I think that if Rumple knew his grandson was going to become evil, he would try to make sure it didn’t happen. I think that prophecy is about something else with the reunion, something bad is going to happen, I don’t know what though

I think that by now if Bae wasn’t Rumples son that he wouldn’t be going through this much trouble to get him back. Not to be saying that adoptive parents cant be loving, but to literally give up the world he is living in just to get back to his so called son, it is a little extreme even for rumple. Honestly I think that maybe Cora and Regina get the dagger and something happens to Rumple, or we learn a truth that is so huge we were blinded by it because of the whole who is Bae thing.

I don’t think it will be Cora because she has the whole millers daughter thing coming up and I doubt that regina would go against her mother, I think that the only reason the three can even work together is because they have common goals of getting the dagger but we already know that they have a different reason to use the dagger, therefore when they do get it, which it seems like they will, it will be the one with the most different views, hook, which will fall short. I don’t think he will die but just get royally screwed over with the whole dagger thing,

I keep watching the last ten seconds of it and realizing how Emma changes her reaction from out of breathe to just plain shock. Over and over again, just seeing how she changes her look that split second she looks up, ah it has to be Neal, has to be.

I could see Cora doing it but I think her motive would be to get him out of town and letting him have a chance at what he wants. And breaking a deal with Rumple isnt exactly a good idea. Also I doubt that if that is Neal/bae that Emma is chasing it is the real one because if it wasn’t the person would have no reason to run from Rumple or Emma. Also I like to point out that the person is running after hearing Emma’s voice not seeing Or hearing gold at all,

I like the theory about the seer being one of the graeae from Greek mythology and they have picked from Greek mythology already so I could see it happening. The only hole I can see is that the graeae always traveled with each other as three, with the seer is not, and the graeae use the eye which they share to see into the future which the seer docent seem to possess so if she was one of the graeae she would be useless
