Maybe they shouldn’t have opened up these loose ends without committing to tackling them down the line in the first place? If Season 7 does happen, I really hope they finally get around to this. Especially since the main cast will be truncated anyway.

I suspect what happened was they wanted to do the Evil Queen, Land of Untold Stories, and Aladdin stuff for Season 6. The Black Fairy and Final Battle might have been the plan for Season 7. Gideon could have still been in Season 6, but perhaps he wouldn’t have been born until the end of the Season. However, they could have combined those plans into the Season 6 we got because 1) They realized that they would be losing key cast members, 2) The show’s ratings had declined, so they wanted to wrap up the main narrative this Season just in case they weren’t renewed for Season 7.
Was Blue Fairy the fairy godmother to Fiona’s (Black Fairy’s) baby?

I’m genuinely excited that they got Stephen Lord back as Malcolm! Black Fairy’s story would have felt incomplete without him!
I think 616 may have just aired on a bad night, because even its lead-in AFV got a 0.7 that night. AFV was back up to a 1.0 last night.
I like that the big sacrifice wasn’t death for a change. I can’t help but think that both the promo and the episode itself wanted to intentionally make us think that Zelena was about to die. Especially once Zelena told Regina to look after baby Robin, no matter what happens to her.
