*shrugs?* I could believe that a few of them stayed behind since it’s not like Nevengers took a head count. I think what I’m wondering is what NVL is like without the Shadow; do you still stay young forever? What role did the Shadow have in the magic of NVL? Is it still dark 24/7 (the promo seems to suggest no so why not?)
It’ll also be nice to see more of Neverland with actual sunlight, based on what little we’ve seen from the promo. For Season 3 they had to build a big Neverland set in the studio that took a lot of time and money to put together, but they obviously weren’t going to rebuild that set just for one episode years later. They never did explain the in universe reason for the lack of sunlight in present day Neverland in Season 3, but I figured it had to do with Pan.
[adrotate group="5"]I’ve heard the same. If true, ABC needs to get a solid replacement so they don’t lose their TGIT dominance because we’ve seen just this past year what happens when you drop one of the TGIT shows and try to squeeze in a non-TGIT show (Notorious)
I think Black’s Law (the working title for now), the next Shonda show currently in development, is being built as such a potential replacement. However, just because it’s Shonda doesn’t guarantee that it’ll be a hit. The Catch was also a Shonda show made to fill in the void for HTGAWM during the Spring, and it’s underperformed both Seasons they’ve tried it.
Even though Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal have already been renewed, both shows ratings are in a slump, showing once again the trash-can-on-fire that is ABC right now. Here are the ratings for Grey’s and Scandal for this week:
Grey’s: 7.23/ 1.7
Scandal: 5.10/ 1.2
The Catch, a second season show and one that only airs in the spring isn’t doing so hot either getting a 3.56/.7 this week. I think it got a pity renewal/Shonadaland renewal last year but it may not fair so well this year. Though, I don’t think it’s the next one on the chopping block.
It should be noted that Scandal was subject to a few breaking news interruptions as a result of the Syria incident last night. That probably made Scandal’s ratings lower than they could have been. Still, Scandal is showing some weakness. It got a 1.3 only 2 weeks ago. It’s already showing similar ratings to OUAT 5B/beginning of 6A. I wouldn’t be surprised if Scandal becomes a fractional show at some point next Season. I’ve heard Shonda apparently wants Scandal to end with 7 Seasons anyway.

It’ll be interesting to see what JMo shoots if it’s outdoors.
I believe they’re done with on location work for the Season. Seems like this extra week is probably all studio.
