ModeratorPerhaps take this with a grain of salt, but Lana’s Twitter profile no longer lists Vancouver:
https://twitter.com/LanaParrilla
Could either mean:
1) She’s not returning for a possible Season 7.
2) She was told the show wasn’t coming back at all. Not sure if that mixes with Gosh’s comments from earlier today saying they’d be willing to return as guest stars, or Steve Pearlman’s comments during the set tours last weekend.
3) She took Vancouver off because they wrap up filming this week, so she probably wouldn’t be living there anyway during the hiatus.MatthewPaul

ModeratorAgreed. The spot after Bachelor/DWTS is a premo spot. ABC is sorta wasting it right now.
I think American Crime Season 3 could have done passable there, but their priority was trying to save Quantico because they’re reluctant to allow it to die. Had they kept Quantico on Sundays, it probably would have continued dropping, especially if it had aired episodes in January against all of the awards shows and AFC Championship game. The Monday move has slowed down the drops, especially when it got another hiatus before DWTS premiered. Placing American Crime on Sundays at 10 with TAT as its lead-in was a death sentence. I guess next Season they’ll either air a new show on Mondays, or move a renewed show they think could do well like Designated Survivor there.

Moderator.7 isn’t horrible (a few years ago, this statement would have been laughable for non-CW shows) but I think there is a question of if the show can be sustained for TWO years because if they renew for S3 then a S4 almost feels automatic to appease the Syndication Gods.
The Syndication Gods rule could actually be a negative towards renewing Quantico. With it already doing low, would another 2 years really be worth it to them? Regardless, if it does get renewed, I think it’s going back to Sundays at 10. It’s retention of both The Bachelor and DWTS is absolutely horrible.

ModeratorSince this is related, I guess I should share a theory of mine that I already told RG. It involves spoilers, though:
For those who follow spoilers, we know that Isaac was announced to be returning around the time they were filming 617. I kept trying to think why they would need to bring Isaac back, especially since he was absent from “Page 23”, the most logical episode he could have played a role in. And then it hit me. I recall Adam and Eddy saying that the Papa Charming murder subplot would be resolved by Easter, and 617 happens to be the episode that airs on Easter Sunday. While of course 617 is expected to be when Snow and Charming finally break their sleeping curse, it could also serve as a resolution for the PapaCharming subplot. So how would Isaac factor into this? Well perhaps it’ll turn out that Hook only killed Robert because Isaac wrote him to do so to “make for a better story”. If it’s revealed that Isaac, rather than Hook, is responsible, then that makes it all the more believable for Charming to forgive Hook. It would be a cop out and convoluted for sure, but just think about which writers we’re dealing with here. They wanted their drama by making Hook the murderer, but they also might want an easy way out of resolving this. Of course this wouldn’t erase that Hook still withheld the truth from both Emma and Charming, whether Isaac controlled his actions or not.

ModeratorQuantico adjusted down to a 0.7, matching last week’s. Artificial boosts in fast results will probably be common for this show due to Dancing with the Stars overruns.
