I think the big thing to take a note of is that it’s more than just JMO and Bobby with contracts up. We’re probably looking at the entire S1 cast having their contracts up.

And it’s still unknown how the contracts work for the cast members who joined after Season 1. Do people like Colin and Emilie still have an extra year on their contract, or were their contracts made to align with the Season 1 cast?

A bit surprised at how Bobby addressed this. Like many of us, I thought he was 100% ready to move on and leave the show once his contract is up. After reading this, though, I wouldn’t be surprised if he still decides to stick around, especially if he is told Season 7 would be the final Season. So really, it could now go either way.

    Well….

.8 in the demo and 2.90 live eyeballs.

It’s not…horrible? It’s actually up slightly from it’s winter finale. But the half hours give a scarier look. 1.025 in the first half/ .693 in the second. That’s a pretty steep drop off. Next week might give us a better look.

In other news, TV Grim Reaper is now saying AoS is likely cancelled. We’ve been going back and forth all season about AoS.

ABC was probably hoping for a lot better, though. They wanted Quantico to be the next Scandal so badly, but it just doesn’t look like it’s in the cards. It was initially a 0.9, which I guess was the result of remaining Bachelor viewers briefly tuning in. Clearly most of them chose to bail. The half hour ratings make me think even less will watch in the coming weeks. I think if they had moved Quantico to this timeslot a year ago or even last Fall, this tactic may have worked out. But it’s too little too late, as the show’s lost too many viewers and they’re not miraculously returning just because it’s airing behind the Bachelor. Plus, how would a serialized show in the middle of its 2nd Season suddenly attract enough new viewers? Then again, the show may have continued to decline in ratings either way simply due to viewers dropping interest in it.

Yeah, I think AoS is done. If it had remained in the 0.8 range, I think it could have potentially gotten one more Season, but it dropped to a 0.6 last week. Then again, last week could have been a fluke, but not a good sign.

Anyone wanna place a bet: original songs or Disney songs?

Original songs, and I wouldn’t rule out the possibility of getting Alan Menken to do them. He’s been writing for TV for the past few years, which of course included Galavant. Doesn’t hurt that Karen David has worked with him, and could provide Adam and Eddy with a connection.

Interesting… I though Isaac died. Hmm. I wonder if this means Henry will be getting into some Author related conflict. I hope so.

He’s not dead. He was simply arrested by the Charmings at the end of Season 4, and has remained offscreen ever since. I presume he’s locked in the asylum, since he’s clearly not in the Sheriff’s station.

Note this doesn’t mean that Ginny won’t be back, if Season 7 happens, since the play closes around when filming normally begins.
