ModeratorAnyone get the sense that this Dark Realm is like the antithesis of Neverland? The way Rumple described that anything is possible there is like how Malcolm said that anything was possible in Neverland. The main difference is that instead of time standing still, time apparently moves faster. I guess it furthers the comparisons between Rumple’s parents.

ModeratorThat really isn’t good. You would think that there would normally be a bump in ratings for a “finale” (has that happened historically?). Starting to wonder if the show may end this season after all.
The winter finale historically sees a drop, with Seasons 2 and 5 being the exceptions. It’s typically the Season finales that increase. I’m still thinking we’ll get a last Season. ABC may even renew it before the 2nd half premieres, like they did in the middle of Season 5.

ModeratorABC just announced that the Billboard Music Awards are airing on May 21st, so the Season finale pretty much has to be on May 14th. Too early to confirm if it’ll be a 2 hour finale, but considering they only have 11 weeks to air 12 episodes, it’s a very safe bet.

ModeratorOkay, lol, first. Darkest soul? Really? Because literally every single time you guys come up with a new villain you apply the same superlative. Second, six years…lol. No.
I was thinking maybe when he said “six years”, he was implying that the Black Fairy was the fairy that Snow got the magic dust from in “Snow Falls”.

ModeratorReminds me of Angel where villain Holtz takes Angel’s baby son Connor to a hell realm where time runs differently and raises him to hate Angel. Then grown-up Connor comes back to kill Angel.
I was thinking the exact same thing. I even joked about it to RG a few days ago.

ModeratorAgreed. Good to (finally!) know. So this means 11 straight weeks, right?
Unless we have an additional 2 hour episode other than the finale, then yeah. This would include airing on Easter Sunday again.

ModeratorTonight’s promo finally confirmed that we won’t return until March, as we’ve been theorizing for a while now. Still no specific date, but March 5th, the Sunday after the Oscars, is the most likely.
