On another note, ABC’s dumpster fire continues, with Deception dropping to a 0.8 and For the People dropping to a 0.6 for their 2nd episodes. Yikes. Seems like they’re in for a really ugly Spring. Tomorrow is the premiere of their heavily hyped Grey’s spinoff, Station 19, so they better hope it works.

I think she might have felt a certain amount of pressure to come back even if she didn’t particularly want to, but it’s also another paycheck, a way to connect with fans, and based on what we saw in 702, I doubt she’s playing a super major role. More like an obligatory goodbye.
She also returned for House’s series finale, so I guess she feels she has to honor her legacy on the show as a last hurrah.
