Good point, SFG! I also found it suspicious that the Oracle was seemingly poisoned by the poison of the Agrabahn Viper. Daniel even brought this up during tonight’s initial reactions.

Yeah, I’m sure even if Adam and Eddy wanted to do some sort of twist like that, ABC/Disney would veto the idea instantly. Aladdin and Jasmine are such an iconic Disney couple that there’s bound to be some restrictions on them. It’s much safer to keep them true to the spirits of their animated counterparts, than to risk tampering them and turning viewers off.
The big question is if the effects of the shears can be undone. We’ve seen Emma lose her magic before back in 3B, but eventually she was able to regain it. Could the same be the case with Aladdin?
Agree with a 1.2. While I do think the hype for this episode will help, I don’t think it’ll boost it up significantly.

I’m guessing the first scene was Lana as the EQ with Stealthy being there?
Kat specifically said it was Lana as Regina, not EQ, so doesn’t look like it. Not sure what to make of this.
