Oooh Notorious went fractional for the second week. I’m starting to reevaluate AoS’s chances of another season in light of that.

Agreed. While AoS is fractional, if it can stay consistent or possibly even go up every now and then, there is the slight chance that it could be renewed. I heard it still does better in that Tuesday 10pm slot than what ABC has previously attempted there, and I believe it gets pretty decent DVR gains. AoS also currently has a syndication deal with MyNetworkTV, so it does have that going for it. So for the time being, my prediction is a tossup.

I have made my own ABC ratings chart. It shows the rating of each scripted show per week, along with the averages. It’s similar to how the Reaper keeps track, except I’ll be updating this daily:

I will also include it in the first post of the thread, for easy access.

    1) There’s the chance that Lana is playing dumb for the sake of secrecy, and really does know more than she’s leading on about.
    2) Robin could still appear in 608, but perhaps his scenes will be filmed at a later time. They’ve done that before. For example, when MRJ filmed his scenes as Neal for 512 in January, when the rest of the episode was filmed back in November.

Something none of us point out: the first sneak peek confirms that Jekyll’s first name is Henry, just like in the novella. Makes me wonder if they’ll address that he shares the same first name as our Henry.

Anyway, I get the impression that they’re using Dr. Lydgate as an allusion to the characters Dr. Hastie Lanyon and Sir Danvers Carew (the 1931 movie version, at least). Dr. Hastie Lanyon is a colleague of Jekyll, and disagrees with his scientific concepts. In the 1931 movie, Jekyll is engaged to Sir Danvers Carew’s daughter, Muriel. I think Mary is an allusion to Muriel. Sir Danvers also constantly questions Jekyll throughout the movie. Spoiler alert: things don’t end well with Sir Danvers in either the book or movie. However, if they want to truly honor Wonderland’s events, then Lydgate has to remain alive. I can’t see this flashback taking place in recent years, since Rumple makes an appearance here.

    3) How in the name of sanity did Rumple get there?

We’ve seen Rumple be able to travel to other worlds before. It was just getting to the Land Without Magic that was a real challenge for him. Victorian England is considered a magical world, and isn’t the same as the Land Without Magic.

That’s rather surprising giving the half hour break downs.

I believe the Mountain time zone actually aired the episode after the debate, so that might be why. Still, we only adjusted down a tenth, and are still higher than last week. My guess is we’ll likely remain steady for a while, fluctuating within the 1.2-1.0 zone. This past episode was actually pretty well received, looking elsewhere.
