ModeratorWho had the theory that Hyde is actually the good one and Jekyll is the monster???
Daniel did. However, the biggest misconception about the Jekyll and Hyde novella is how the serum works. When Jekyll drinks the serum, it doesn’t make Jekyll fully good in return. Hyde comes to exist from within Jekyll’s own inner darkness. In reality, Jekyll is the complete person, while Hyde is the manifestation of his evil side. In fact, the whole reason he creates the serum is so that he can act upon his ill desires without harming his social reputation. When Jekyll turns into Hyde, he doesn’t black out. Jekyll remembers being Hyde, and Hyde remembers being Jekyll. Hyde is basically a mask that Jekyll hides behind, and he did so purposely. However, what gets Jekyll into trouble is when he starts transforming into Hyde uncontrollably without the serum.
I’m interested to see what OUAT does with their backstory. Will they somehow go back to what I just brought up?

ModeratorIt it just me or are there a lot more pictures on there now?

They always release additional photos after the episode has aired. They withhold posting certain promotional photos prior, because they’re considered too spoilerly.

ModeratorWorth pointing out that it got a 1.3 for both half hours, so this number very well may stick for the adjustments.

ModeratorSweet Jesus. We get it; Aladdin and Jasmine are coming and it’s the most magical thing to ever happen in the entire universe. Next week’s promo will literally just be the announcer screaming “ALADDIN AND JASMINE” for thirty seconds.
Agreed. Let the other episodes have their share of promotional attention, first. For example, I’m personally very intrigued on Jekyll and Hyde’s centric, and want to see more about it. Aladdin and Jasmine being in every Season 6 episode promo has also made many feel misled. I’ve seen quite a few people comment “they’re really taking a long time to get to Aladdin and Jasmine”, “where’s Aladdin and Jasmine? The promos keep showing them, but they’re still not here!”, etc. Also worth pointing out that Jasmine will actually first show up in this episode, which this promo doesn’t even mention.

ModeratorAlso, season 1 established Ella was livin with her stepsisters and stepmother…. But only one of the sisters should be in SB.
Nope. This is what was said:
Emma: Um, Ruby. What about her family?
Ruby: Oh, um, she’s got a stepmom and two stepsisters that she doesn’t talk to.She wasn’t living with them in Storybrooke, and it was even specifically said that she didn’t talk to them. The curse would have still given her memories of having a stepfamily, but it didn’t necessarily mean that they were really in Storybrooke. Ashley not talking to them in Storybrooke actually makes more sense now, in hindsight.

ModeratorReally?
What was the script outline?
Check the thread for 608’s title. I posted it there. Anyway, we literally just got another hint about Violet appearing this Season:

ModeratorViolet will probably never be mentioned again, let alone seen. She’s been sent to live on forgotten character island.
Actually, she’s supposed to appear in 608, based on that script outline that leaked a while ago.

ModeratorConviction adjusted down to a .9
Ouch.
ABC must be praying that Time After Time and Still Star Crossed do really well or else their new dramas in 2016 is almost a total bust.
Designated Survivor is the lone exception, thus far. I kinda wonder if ABC was honestly expecting most of their new shows to fail, since their pilots were all greenlit under Paul Lee. But yikes, at this point, I won’t be surprised if they end up renewing a few shows that get fractional ratings this Season. ABC can’t cancel everything.
MatthewPaul
ModeratorThey are, yes. Which means that they will look to older shows that are at least steady with a built in audience. As low as the 1.1 is and as high a chance as we have for going fractional, I think OUAT is getting renewed because as of right now it look like ABC is going to lose at least two new shows–Notorious and Conviction. I also think they’re going to can AoS .
Right now the following shows are doing worse for ABC than OUAT:
– Quantico
– Secrets and Lies
– Agents of SHIELD
– Conviction
– Secrets and Lies
– Dr. KenThat’s 5 dramas right there. Both Notorious and OUAT got a 1.1 for their latest episode, but I still think it’ll go before OUAT ever does. Not to mention, Notorious is a Freshmen show that is already starting out low. Currently there are only 3 dramas that are doing better than OUAT: Grey’s, Designated Survivor and HTGAWM. So yeah, it’s definitely safe for now.
