“Charming has always had questions about his family and his father that he thought were answered,” EP Adam Horowitz says.

Let me guess, his father really didn’t die drunk driving off of a ravine?

Please note that some sites have re-released this PR as a 6×01 PR. It is not; we’ll get that in a few weeks. Just a friendly heads up.

Yeah, the actual press release would mention the episode name, date and time, and the specific guest list for the episode.

Seems like this is the original source for the pic:

    Press release for the premiere

IT’S A MAD CITY ON THE ALL-NEW SEASON THREE PREMIERE OF “GOTHAM” MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, ON FOX

Gordon works in a monster-ridden Gotham as a bounty hunter and seeks to find answers about the Indian Hill escapees, and why their powers appear to be killing them. Meanwhile, Bruce’s doppelganger roams the streets, and Barbara and Tabitha open a new nightclub called The Sirens in the all-new “Mad City: Better to Reign in Hell…” Season Premiere episode of GOTHAM airing Monday, Sept. 19 (8:00-9:01 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (GTH-301) (TV-14; L, V)

Cast: Ben McKenzie as Detective James Gordon, Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock, David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, Morena Baccarin as Leslie Thompkins, Sean Pertwee as Alfred, Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean, Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle/the future Catwoman, Cory Michael Smith as Edward Nygma/the future Riddler, Jessica Lucas as Tabitha Galavan, Chris Chalk as Lucius Fox, Drew Powell as Butch Gilzean, Michael Chiklis as Detective Nathaniel Barnes

Guest Cast: Jada Pinkett Smith as Fish Mooney, Jamie Chung as Valerie Vale, James Carpinello as Mario, Tonya Pinkins as Ethel Peabody, Richard Kind as Mayor Aubrey James, Clare Foley as Ivy Peppe

So the subtitle for Season 3, at least the first half, is called “Mad City”. This makes sense with both the Indian Hills monsters on the loose, and with the Mad Hatter coming to the show.

Also worth noting that the original finale title was posted as, “Let Love Rule,” which I would have preferred. It would have highlighted the goodbye scene with Garrett and Jessie. Not sure why they ended up calling it, “She Talks to Angels.”

I believe “She Talks to Angels” was the song that played in the episode. Maybe “Let Love Rule” was originally going to be that song, but they changed it for whatever reason.

To make matters worse, it gets really confusing when we have “fictional London” and “real London” — what does that even mean? Did some author use his/her imagination to make fictional London? If so, doesn’t that fly in the face of the “every story you’ve ever known is real” motto from season one? Hence, does that make Wendy Darling, who’s from “real” London somehow “more real” than say Alice or Cruella — both of whom are from fictional London? I know, my questions are pointless.

I think the whole reason they ended up making the Darlings from the real world is because they wanted Baelfire to meet them, and go to Neverland from there. However, they had to stay consistent with the fact that the bean sent him to the Land Without Magic. It had to be the same world, because that was specifically the world Rumple was looking to get to for centuries. Still doesn’t make it any less confusing. I remember when several people asked if the Darlings and Alice were from the same world, back when Wonderland first started airing. Adam had to keep telling people that they weren’t.

Now that we know for certain that this will be about 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, I actually found a quote from the book that mentions “dark waters”.:

Under these dark waters there stretched the bank of shellfish, an inexhaustible field of pearls more than twenty miles long.

I actually think that’s the best option. Prior to NVL gets messy since he was supposedly sold into service with Liam; and doing errands for Pan (like getting cake??) always struck me as super lame given the powers of NVL

They could technically do prior to Neverland, but it’d have to be before he got his hook, since he literally goes straight to Neverland following that incident. Not unless we want another “Swan Song” on our hands, where they sloppily try to place a new flashback in-between a previous flashback. They could do:

    1) Between “Good Form” and “The Crocodile”. When Killian became a pirate after Liam’s death, but before he crossed paths with Rumple.
    2) In-between the events of “The Crocodile”. When Killian and Milah were sailing the oceans together. That’s roughly 7 years or so to take into account. Baelfire was probably around 7 when she left, but 14 when Rumple lost him. They would have to get Rachel Shelley back as Milah, which may not be all that difficult. I honestly would be intrigued on exploring that time period. We only saw the beginning and end of their relationship, after all.

All these things happened either before he went to Neverland or when he was doing deliveries for Pan.

They also have the option to do Hook flashbacks during the missing year. There was that extended period of time following when he re-took the Jolly Roger from Blackbeard, but before he traded his ship back to Blackbeard to get back to the Land Without Magic.

TV Line has posted some additional info:

Once Upon a Time is going 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea to reveal Captain Nemo’s connection to Hook.
The ABC drama has tapped Faran Tahir (American Crime, Warehouse 13) to play the hardened leader of the Nautilus submarine in Season 6, EW.com reports.

Nemo is described as a zealous believer in a cause, which takes him from ~69,047 miles under the sea to a destiny that he won’t let anyone prevent him from achieving. His mythology will merge with that of Storybrooke’s own captain, Hook.
Once Upon a Time Season 6 premieres Sunday, Sept. 25 at 8/7c on ABC; Tahir appears in Episode 6.
