ModeratorSome have brought up the possibility that the returning character isn’t a full returning character, but rather a returning persona of a current character. This person being the Evil Queen. Lana’s response at a convention this weekend points to this possibility:
On Evil Regina: "She is making an appearance coming up soon."

The flashbacks for the finale seem like they’ll be Jekyll/Hyde centric, so that leans towards the Evil Queen being incorporated in the present day. What I think could happen is that Regina somehow ends up taking Jekyll’s potion, and this causes her to transform into her old Evil Queen self. So Regina could go back and forth between her current self and the Evil Queen. This way the writers get to re-introduce the Evil Queen back into the present without undoing Regina’s character development. I’m mixed on this possibility. A lot of this sounds like it’d be a repeat of the Spell of Shattered Sight, but if done right, this could be intriguing.

ModeratorYeah…no. We still have three more episodes before the end of the Season. I also think if this were Hook’s legit final farewell, it would have gotten a lot more attention. This would have been an entire CS episode, and the flashback would have involved Hook in some way.

ModeratorI think I’ve said this before, but I personally think TLK comes down to specific actions and the motivations behind them. It’s really not some “two people are true love, so they always have TLK” kinda thing. Nor is it “you can only have true love between you and one other person for life” thing, either. Even with confirmed true love couples, we’ve seen TLK fail between them during certain occasions, like when Charming’s TLK on Snow didn’t initially work, when Snow had her memories of him wiped away. If I had to guess, Rumple’s TLK didn’t work because he still fears losing his powers, and that’s holding him back. Now I know there have been a ton of debates about what True Love means on this show, but in short that’s how I see it.

ModeratorI do have to say, there’s something very fitting about the Underworld now being ruled by someone who literally has the surname De Vil.

ModeratorHe tried to give henry to zelena
Wait, when did this happen? I recall he was actually trying to get Henry out of town to get him away from Zelena. Still a reckless move, though.

ModeratorIm sort of confuse with these articles( Tv line sweeps “list of big returns” and eonline), especially by what they mean by “returns”, let`s put on the table that is Neal, if was him that would not be a return, if he does for example, a dream sequence with Henry or a flashback with Henry, that for me is an apperance, not return, is simply a scene, for me a return and i think is what these articles or at least Tv line one means, is a return of a character to the show for more than one scene and to stay sometime, even if not as regular, that would be a return, which we know wont happen. And on the Eonline article, are A&E that say the words big return i believe, so i think they would not say a big return to neal, they could say maybe a old character will make one apperance, i say this, if was Neal, matt M would know this and would be making articles about it.
I looked at their scorecard for last year, and their big returns included characters that didn’t necessarily stick around in a larger capacity. Here’s their list of Resurrections/Big Returns from last year:
1. AIRED April 26: Lily/Once Upon a Time
2. AIRED April 28: Maria Hill/Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
3. AIRED April 28: Sameen Shaw/Person of Interest
4. AIRED May 3: Victoria/Revenge
5. AIRED May 3: Charlotte/Revenge
6. AIRED May 6: Cragen: Law & Order: SVU
7. AIRED May 7: Liv/The Vampire Diaries
8. AIRED May 8: Catherine/Hawaii Five-0
9. AIRED May 8: Trubel/Grimm
10. AIRED May 8: Kelly Burkhardt/Grimm
11. AIRED May 8: Diana/Grimm
12. AIRED May 11: Sin Rostro/Jane the Virgin
13. AIRED May 11: Esther/The Originals
14. AIRED May 14: Jeremy/The Vampire Diaries
15. AIRED May 14: Nostradamus/Reign
16. AIRED May 14: Oscar/Elementary
17. AIRED May 15: Martin Meisner/Grimm
18. AIRED May 15: Agent Chavez, GrimmSource: http://tvline.com/2015/04/02/may-sweeps-scorecard-2015-spoilers/

ModeratorDue to E! Online’s recent article, me and RG looked back at what the “Number of resurrections and/or big returns” category could include. Hook being included for being a resurrection is still a given, but now this old returning character could be included under “big return”. If you look at the thread about the E! Online article, we’ve already considered which characters, with Neal being the most brought up possibility.

ModeratorTink doesn’t exactly the same narrative pull, though. She’s someone they announce ahead of time, not someone who’s a BIG deal
Well if Tink were to return, it could make somewhat sense if Robin really does die. Tink was the one to push OutlawQueen to begin with, after all. My money is still on Neal, though. I just can’t get the possibility out of my head, after going through what I said earlier.

ModeratorSomething someone mentioned to me about a possibility based on ouat truck being filming in University of south california, like 1 or 2 weeks ago, just came to my head, but since was never confirmed i never thought of that again, until now, and talking about filming in secret, but just hope not, no, no more Neal, i mean MRj even said on the interview, that neal got book end and sort of hint no more ouat. Also this is supposed to be on the finale, right? the finale is on 523, even tho by then they are still in NY, but yeah, no Neal.
Maybe is Tink? or Graham, although i think they dont have money to have jamie back and he is filming the 50 shades movies, but maybe is bc of that, the character comeback would be unexpected.
I think the people involved look at both 522/523 as the finale, since they are airing together as a special 2 hour finale event. I mean, Amy Manson initially said that she was returning for the finale, and it looks like she’s in 522 too. Not to mention, Jacob and Nathaniel are in both episodes, as is Violet. Just like with Seasons 3 and 4, it looks like one story told over two parts. You can say the same thing for Season 1 and 2’s final two episodes, except that they aired on separate nights. Regarding the recent MRJ interview, keep in mind that the interview was most likely conducted after filming for Season 5 wrapped.
As for other characters, I guess I wouldn’t rule Tink. iZombie does film in Vancouver, and she certainly seems open to returning. That largely depends upon how the CW feels, I guess. I wouldn’t count on Graham, though. Jamie Dornan has become way too big of a star in recent years, that I just don’t see it happening. Adam and Eddy have regularly stated how improbable his return would be. If I had to suggest another character, I would say perhaps August?
