ModeratorSean and Ed are pretty close…I don’t think he’ll tell him that if he wasn’t certain. So options 1 or 2 are set in stone there I think.
If Adam and Eddy plan on transferring Sean over to their other show with Elizabeth Mitchell and Elizabeth Lail, that’s option 2. And as much begging and pleading the Hoodies and OutlawQueeners have been giving Sean to give them any small sign that he’s sticking around…he could have done just that. Time will only tell when July gets around here…or if we see him at Comic Con.
Most importantly, we’ll have to see how the rest of the Season goes down. It could very well leave the possibility of him returning open.

Keep in mind, “See you in Vancouver soon, I hope” could mean one of the following things:
1) Sean is returning for Season 6, implying that Robin’s rumored death doesn’t stick.
2) Sean could land a role for another show in Vancouver.
3) Sean could be just guessing that he’ll eventually return to Vancouver, but there’s nothing specific set in stone at the moment.April 8, 2016 at 9:07 pm in reply to: TVLine March 8: Blind Item–Series Killing Off Star In Finale (Revealed) #321194MatthewPaul
ModeratorWhile Robin is still dying later this season, this was not the Blind Item. Pretty sure–almost beyond a doubt–that it was Abbie Mills on Sleepy Hollow tonight in the season(series?) finale
Now if anyone needs me, Im going to go lay down and cry.
ETA: TVLine Confirms that the above spoiler’d quote WAS the Blind Item
Wasn’t she also the death blind item for last Winter? So she’s had two deaths in one Season?

Moderator@DanielJLewis and I were just talking about this and here are some numbers/thoughts.
They need to stop comparing themselves to LOST. They aren’t the same, not culturally and not number wise. LOST, in its final season was pulling numbers in the demo that we pulled in our FIRST season and haven’t pulled since (with exception of the beginning Frozen arc–but that went south quickly, before the arc’s end).
Latest episode of OUAT drew 3.4 mil live eyeballs and a 1.1 in the demo.
LOST episode 5×16 drew well over 9 million and had somewhere in the 3’s for their demo.
LOST was a beast in terms of ratings and OUAT isn’t going to achieve that, from where we are right now. It’s time to seriously think about how to end the story, make the final arc(s) in S6 the best they can by really focusing on knowing it’s the end.
A better comparison would be Heroes. Like OUAT, Heroes started out very strong, but its ratings and popularity took a considerable decline til it was cancelled at the end of its fourth Season.

ModeratorI’m really interested to hear some predictions for this week’s episode, 5×17.
I think it’s a safe bet that we will at least stay steady at a 1.1 in the demo. But will we rise is the bigger question. There are no serious award shows, no live musicals, and no holidays. Not to mention that we’re coming off an episode that many consider a highlight of the arc and season.
I’m gonna play it safe and stick with a 1.1 but…other thoughts?
Considering we only went down to a 1.0 on Easter Sunday, the day we thought ratings would go down to their lowest, we do have to wonder if we can even go lower than that at this point of the Season. We’ve also reached the midpoint of 5B, so I would guess that we’ll remain fairly flat from here on out. That’s not to say that I wouldn’t rule out more drops, as stranger things have happened.

ModeratorThough, the producers do have some semblance of an ending in their back pocket. “We certainly have endpoints in mind for many of our characters and where we want the story to go and finish up, but we have different ways of getting there,” Horowitz says. “We’re not, at this point, setting a specific end date for the show. But what we are doing is taking the luxury of knowing we have another season to be able to continue our long-term planning.”
Therefore, the OUAT bosses are not looking at season 6 as the end. “No,” Kitsis says. “We could change our minds in a few months, but right now we’re just trying to get out of [season] 5. We have plans for season 6. Listen, there’s a time and a place where, at a certain point, characters either need to find their happiness or not, and we are aware of that. We’re just not ready to answer that question yet.”
So there’s that. For now, at least.

ModeratorWhy does Hook have to be a jerk all them? Do they purposefully write him like that? Does he not realize they are in this situation because of him? I get writing a “sassy” line sometimes for fun, but doing it all the time is ridiculous.
I think they’re trying to give him snarky lines the same way they have with Regina in the past, but it seems like he’s been even more rude about it by comparison recently.

ModeratorKillian (Possibly, because we were hinted that Emma has to learn to move on and let go)?
Except the end of 515 tells us otherwise. That entire episode was about whether Hook should move on or not, and ultimately he decided that he should return with Emma. I don’t imagine the writers going back on that. They’ve moved on from that question.
