One other thing that could support the Jekyll and Hyde theory. It looks like Nathaniel came through a portal with Snowing, Hook and Zelena in NYC. Now we have photos of Jacob talking to Regina in Storybrooke, which could take place when everyone has returned from NYC. So how did Jacob arrive? Perhaps Nathaniel (Jekyll) transformed into Jacob (Hyde).
You know, if the Jekyll thing is correct, maybe Jacob and Nathaniel really aren’t brothers, but are actually alter egos of one another just like in the actual story. The brothers thing could have been a lie in the casting call to throw us all off. Adam and Eddy did admit that they lied about casting for Rumple’s mother, just so that they could keep Merida a secret.
Considering Kat (one of our trusted set visiting sources) swears she heard someone say “Jekyll”, this makes me think this really is Jekyll and Hyde. I’m wondering if they’re from the same land as Whale/Dr. Frankenstein: A Land Without Color. If that’s the case, 6A’s theme could be centered around the horror genre, with other notable horror stories thrown in.
