ModeratorI strongly suspect that Eloise Gardner is the witch whom Victoria (aka Rapunzel) has locked up in her tower. As far as I can tell, she is the only missing person in the story so far, and we know the winter finale is called The Secret Garden. I think it is going to be the old bait-and-switch kind of reveal in which Victoria Belfry turns out to be Rapunzel, who is really a villain, while Gothel is the misunderstood anti-hero. It is a well-worn trope now on OUAT like when Peter Pan was really the villain and Hook was the anti-hero or in which King Arthur was actually a power-crazed schmuck.
Hook’s daughter being the witch would also be a twist that none of us initially saw coming. Not to mention, she’s supposed to be missing, which we can say is the case for the witch, since Victoria has her locked up. Alice/Tilly is freely wandering about.

ModeratorAnyone wanna predict ratings for episode 705 this week?
I think we’ll hold on to our .5 that we’ve had for the past few weeks.
Agreed. I think dropping to a 0.4 might be too soon. When ratings are already this low, they tend to be more stable. But then again, I thought dropping to a 0.5 2 weeks ago was too soon, so we shall see.

ModeratorAnyone else think she’ll be Alice’s new love interest if Drizella and Alice remain exes?
Also, good casting; she’s fun on Riverdale in her mostly minorish role. I wonder if they’ll ask her to dye her hair red to be obviously Zelena’s daughter.
Well her father was Robin Hood, so there’s a chance she’ll inherit his blond hair.

ModeratorSo Eliose Gardener is his daughter’s name. With that being 7×07’s title we must be getting that story pretty early.
Does this also mean that the chess scene between him and Tilly/Alice was a red herring?

ModeratorI wonder if 7×11 will air on Dec. 15, with 7×10 on Dec. 8th, or not until the Spring.
I suspect 711 won’t air until January or March, depending how they schedule the hiatus this year. The main reason is the episode title also happens to be the name of a Bruce Springsteen song, and it’s been a tradition for them to name the Mid-Season premiere titles after Springsteen songs since Season 3.

ModeratorSome number crunching I saw about episode 704. I agree that it’s curious how the audience keeps coming back only to leave at the 830 mark…and then return?
I think that’s been the case for like almost every OUAT episode in recent years. I think I heard it might be some side effect of factoring in the delayed viewers, but it’s so bizarre.

ModeratorGlad we at least stayed steady. Next week will be interesting; were enough people captivated by Tiana thus far to tune in live?
I’m curious how the general audience reacted to Belle’s death last night, as that could very well determine how stable we are next week. The reactions from most of the fandom I’ve seen has been pretty positive, with many feeling it was a very nicely written sendoff for the character.

ModeratorFast ratings for 704 are finally in. We kept our 0.5 from last week, but saw a small drop in eyeballs from 2,516 to 2,467.

ModeratorI just think it would be such a richer story for Alice to be Rumple and Belle’s daughter, trying to wake her father up and find a way to help him break his Dark One’s Curse. It would be such a full circle for Rumple.
Not to mention
– She looks a lot like Belle/Emilie.
– One of Belle’s biggest desires was to see the world, and Alice herself is an adventurer who has explored several places.
– Belle would totally name her daughter after a literary character. -
