ModeratorI think we’ll hold steady at a .5 with the very minor possibility that we’ll jump up to a .6
I think we’ll at least hold on to a 0.5, but sadly I think there’s also the chance that we’ll go down again, instead of up. The release of Stranger Things Season 2 the same day may keep some away from tuning in, and there is also the World Series. Then again, Belle’s return could help, especially since people want know what happened to her and Rumple. But I hope we don’t drop again, cause a 0.4 only 4 episodes in would be ugly.

ModeratorHappy to see Belle lived her happily ever after….but….does this mean, Snow White, Charming, and everyone else back in Storybrooke/Enchanted Forest are old?
Nah, because it looks like Rumple and Belle aren’t even in Storybrooke in these photos. My theory is that they either went to the Dark Realm, or another realm where time moves faster.

ModeratorWell. The fan reaction to this will be interesting. I’m honestly all for it because it looks like Belle lives a wonderful full life with her child/children and I’m excited for the direction this will propel Rumple.
And they still would have technically left the door open for Belle to return for more flashbacks that take place during this period, if they choose to.

ModeratorTV Guide released a few more pics, and it pretty much confirms the Belle dies of old age rumor:

ModeratorI think once the Wish Realm was created it became a real place along with all the characters and anyone else that resulted in an EF without the casting of the curse. I think it’s only possible because the wish was granted by a genie.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it turns out that Wish Hook wasn’t originally from the Wish Realm after all. He had already crossed paths with EF2 Lady Tremaine, and he said he had been traveling from realm to realm in search of his daughter.

ModeratorI agree. I don’t mind Belle dying in this episode if it’s part of her long, natural life full of love and family. And if the rest of the season is Rumple wanting to die to be with her, only to change his mind because he realizes he needs to live for their children Gideon and Alice then by god, I’ll call that a good story and *exactly* what Rumple’s final arc should be!
Agreed. It’s juicy character development for Rumple. He’s never had to confront the fact that so long as he is the immortal Dark One, that he will have to watch his mortal loved ones eventually pass away of old age as he continues to live an eternal life. He had killed Millah, and Baelfire/Neal was killed, so it wasn’t quite the same thing. As far as the end of Season 6 addressed, we moved past the whole dragged out power vs. love conflict of the past several Seasons, so this is the next natural character arc to explore going forward.
