Wicked City got a 0.4 last night. Lord, I don’t think I’ve seen any ABC premiere do THAT bad before. Even “Lucky 7”, which was another bomb a few years back, got pulled off the air after 2 weeks when it got a 0.7. This article puts into perspective how embarrassing of a flop Wicked City is for ABC:

As noted before, no network has actually yanked a failing show off the schedule yet this Season. Wicked City very well might be the first show pulled entirely.
[adrotate group="5"]Totally agree. Also makes me a little twitchy in terms of the LGBT storyline. It means they probably never intended to ever explore that type of a love story, and only decided to stick it in when they realized that they had another episode and only Merida, Arthur, and Zelena to really carry it.
It was probably finding out that Jamie Chung was finally available again that made them decide to do this episode. I recall they didn’t announce her return until September.
And yeah, Arthur totally killed Fergus. Some have mentioned that King Arthur has been known as “the Bear King” in some stories just like Fergus is. So the Bear King killed the other Bear King? How poetic.
The 300 thing for Rumple comes from Bobby (and maybe Jane?) waaaaaay back in S1. We’ve never put much stock in that; it’s always been closer to 200 for us. Though we always aimed on the higher side, like 230-250.
I always thought Bobby’s comment was just a random estimate, and the point he was trying to make was that Rumple was very old. lol! It’s really the whole thing with Big Ben not being completed until 1858 that made Keb place it a little less than 200 years. There’s also a difference between saying how old Rumple himself is, and how long he was the Dark One for. Rumple was probably what, in his 40s or even 50s already when he first became the Dark One? If he was born in like 1810, then yeah he would be 203 years old, give or take. Meaning he was the Dark One for closer to 150 years.
“I think I always had the idea with Pan that there is still just a glimpse of redemption in his life and in his life with his son, so I always wanted to play that ‘you were right, I was wrong’ kind of thing,” Kay explained of how he’s portraying Pan differently in Season 5. “Maybe there is a little bit of a change in Pan’s demeanor when you see him next time. There might be more of a vulnerability and more of a sense the world has affected him as a result of what happened in Season 3, so we’ll see.”

Here are my rough estimates about the Dark One timeline, until Keb can give her own thoughts:
980 (1000 years before Arthur becomes King) – Merlin drinks from the Holy Grail.
1480 – Nimue becomes the First Dark One.
1860 (rough estimate because of Big Ben) – Rumple becomes the Dark One.
1980 – Arthur becomes King 33 years before Present Day events.
1983 – Storybrooke is created.
2012 – Curse is broken.
2013 – Present Day with Emma as the Dark One.
They intend to fix that title card for the Blu-Ray and any future releases:

Also, looks like Rumple was the Dark One for a little less than 200 years, which was what Keb suspected:

Adam finally cleared this up. It was supposed to say “500 years”, not “200 years.”:

Guess this was a mistake in the editing room, but it still doesn’t excuse it not being caught before it aired.
Does 509 feature any of the core?
Unless you count Zelena, since she is a series regular now. Definitely looks like this is a side episode to give Merida, Mulan and Ruby a chance to shine. Perhaps at the very least the other regulars will appear in a scene towards the end of the episode to lead into 510? It’s pretty clear that “The Bear King” was probably not originally planned as an episode, and was added later on. Hence why 5A is now 11 episodes, and 5B seems to be 12 episodes based on Adam’s tweet about Season 5 now being 23 episodes. 5B being 12 episodes long was the original plan, so I guess they simply added this episode to make 5A 11 episodes.
Where…did Zelena get her WW clothes? Did she POOF them? Did Camelot just happen to have a spare set on hand? Did she fly over to the EF/Regina’s castle and grab some stashed away?
We’ve seen magic users magically change clothes plenty of times before, though.
