Something to keep in mind is how they keep talking about how since this is a new book, the rules and mythology are different. So that could mean the curse might have to be cast a different way.
[adrotate group="5"]One of the most interesting things confirmed in this interview is that the Hyperion Heights events take place in 2017, and not like 2030. They also said that there’s an explanation in regards to why Henry and Lucy aged in the New Enchanted Forest faster than everyone back in Storybrooke. I’m assuming the simplest explanation will be that time simply moves faster in that book? However, this makes Giles Matthey’s return as Gideon even more confusing, now.

Is there any magic in Hyperion Heights? Or is a magic-less town like crused SB was before magic was brought back in S2
Since I too got to screen the episode, I can answer some questions, too. I can say that Hyperion Heights doesn’t have magic, since Adam and Eddy have already stated so in interviews over the Summer. There is one little exception so far, which you’ll see by the end of the episode.
So does a new version of fairy god mother appear in this?

In comparison to Regina, how does Tremaine rank? Is she just a carbon copy or does she do her own unique villain thang
I’d say she’s a mix between Regina and Cora, but I don’t think I’d call her a carbon copy. But like RG said, we need to learn more about her, as the premiere was mostly setup. I like her so far, though.
