ModeratorFull ratings are in for episode 506 “The Bear and the Bow”
Live Eyeballs: 4.82 million
Demo: 1.5
A slight dip in the demo, but nothing drastic however this is a new series low.
Quantico also took a huge dip. It got a 1.2.

ModeratorPart of me fears that the writers will forget that Ruby returned to Storybrooke during the 2nd curse, and will instead write her story as if she remained back in FTL this entire time. Hopefully not, of course.

Moderator“Merida’s facing a problem in the present day that involves Zelena and King Arthur,” Kitsis says. “Mulan and Ruby are going to be enlisted to help her solve that problem. [So] it’s your normal show where Merida, Mulan and Little Red Riding Hood team up to fight the Wicked Witch and King Arthur. It’s just another day in Camelot!”
My guess is that Zelena and/or Arthur were involved with King Fergus’ death.

ModeratorRumple didn’t injure himself for his son, not even a little bit. Retcon. Horrible character assassination retcon. He did for Bae and he did it because he was scared. That mix of fear and heroism has always defined Rumple, it’s what made him complex and the writers just reduced him to a singular concept: cowardice. Malarkey. Absolute malarkey.
Initially I had the same reaction, but part of me questions if Rumple was really telling the truth in that moment. It simply could have just been a desperate way to convince Belle that he was a coward, despite her believing otherwise. Perhaps he was even starting to believe in his own lies. However, Belle should have reminded him of the time he sacrificed his own life against Pan to save everyone.

ModeratorI have a feeling that the “spark from mankind’s original fire” will turn out to be the fire that Prometheus stole from Olympus and introduced to mankind. With 5B being the Underworld and other elements from Greek mythology, I could see it as another possible hint that they’re throwing at us.

I think we’ll stay at a 1.6
Agreed, or it will drop to a 1.5 at the very most.

ModeratorI wonder if they will use her for 5B and send her off to the Underworld with the others.
Or if she will be brave enough to sacrifice herself for others, such as her brothers and/or the gang. If Emma is not the death, then maybe she is?
Other filming spoilers mentioned Merida going with a captured Arthur back through a portal, so no don’t think so. I think Merida will be treated similarly to the Frozen character, where she’ll be gone once this half of the Season is over. And I doubt they would ever kill off Merida.

ModeratorAnd that’s a Hook episode, yes?
I believe “Swan Song” is, as that’s supposed to be the episode with Hook’s father. Though obviously Hook seems to be pretty involved in “Broken Heart”, too. So my guess is “Broken Heart”‘s flashback might be more Dark Swan stuff from Camelot that happens to involve Hook, while “Swan Song” is the Papa Jones flashback.

ModeratorI wonder if sharing a heart with a Dark One would have any negative consequences…
My guess is they would both be the Dark One at the same time. After all, we saw that the Darkness that made Rumple the Dark One was attached to his heart. That’s another reason why I find Hook’s name being on Excalibur suspicious.
