    This is a theory I saw elsewhere in relation to the Author that I might as well share in this thread. Belle’s mother, Colette, was the Author before the Peddler. A few articles mentioned way back when that there were potential plans for France O’Connor to return later this Season. Colette was also so determined to protect those books. It would certainly make thematic sense that Colette, a bookworm like Belle, would hold the job as the Author.

    It’s not all finale. The Sweeps start April 23rd. By that time only ‘Heart of Gold’ and ‘Sympathy for the De Vil’ would have aired. They were filming ‘Mother’ when we got the pictures of them arriving back in Storybrooke with her – they left for the road trip during the filming of ‘Lily’ (or it could have been the ending for Sympathy for the De Vil). So unless it’s revealed she’s alive during Heart of Gold, I doubt that we’d actually find out that she’s alive until Regina & Emma track them down in either ‘Lily’ (Airing April 26th) or ‘Mother’ (Airing May 3rd).

    The promo for “Heart of Gold” implies that we’re getting the Marian=Zelena reveal in that episode. The voice over blatantly says that Zelena is back “and more powerful than ever”, along with showing shots of what seems to be Rumple and Regina’s reactions to this revelation. And in that very shot of Rumple, it appears Zelena is standing in front of him.

    So some way, Rumple’s finally gonna cl – clea – *twitch* – separate himself from the Dagger, but it won’t be by someone stabbing him with it if it’s currently unconnected to anyone. And Emma’s willing to step up and take on the responsibility. The Saviour being willing to sacrifice themselves to protect others from the burden of darkness/sin. Yup, sounds about right. (And I’ve gotta laugh that they’re filming it right before Easter.)

    If this is the case, and Bobby is returning for Season 5 like Larry said, then perhaps just MAYBE we are going to get a storyline of Rumple dealing with his mortality after having his curse broken. Color me intrigued.

    Another on set description:

    April 1st Once Upon A Time Shooting
    Day scene – Regina, Henry, Robin Hood, Emma and the Apprentice. Regina, Emma and the Apprentice are laying on the ground and Henry is standing over Regina. Regina sits up and hugs Henry, then Robin runs around the corner and hugs Regina while Emma gets up and hug Henry. While that’s happening, the Apprentice gets up. After Emma hugs Henry she looks at the Apprentice and then runs off. Also while Emma does that, Regina and Robin kiss. It kinda looks like this is when they return from FTL and they fixed the book.

    Night scene – Regina, Robin, Emma, Hook, Snow and Charming. Each couple kinda runs and meets in the middle of the street. Something happens or is said and then all of a sudden Regina is flung and has some sort of magical seizure. Robin yells “Regina! What’s she doing!?” And then Emma says something about how the dagger is sucking up all the light and all the hope. Robin is like “well I won’t let it” but when he goes to help Regina he is violently flung back and to the ground. Emma is like “it doesn’t work like that. We have to do what the apprentice said. The dagger needs to be attached to someone” (or something like that) and then charming yells no and snow yells “there has to be another way” and Emma is like “there isn’t”. Then hook runs up to her and begs her to not do it. Then they kiss and then she pushes him away and flings the dagger in the air. Regina is released from her magical seizure and she runs into robins arms where they hold each other and just stare in disbelief at what’s happening. Then Emma disappears and the dagger is just on the ground where Emma once stood and everyone is just staring at it. Snow is crying and Regina looks like she’s about to break down any second. So does hook.

    After the second time they filmed that scene and I heard it better I was like “umm what the…” and I’m pretty sure I yelled “nope rewrite” before they yelled cut and then I got some intense “are you kidding me?!” Glares haha. Oops:P Ya but I’m scared ha

    Something to notice: on the thank you card signed from all the regulars, Sean is included. Might they finally have made him a series regular?

    I think it’s more likely he was included just because he’s as good as much a regular, though still not officially. Won’t be surprised if he does get the promotion for Season 5, of course.
