Personally, I wouldn’t be surprised. Fish is not a pre-existing character from the comics, and Penguin has already overthrown her and taken over her nightclub. I feel she was mainly there for the sake of Penguin’s arc, but now her time is coming to a close. I do hope that she does at least return to Gotham by the end of the Season for one last chance of returning to power, but it will yet again end in failure.

Been thinking about what could happen in this episode, and I have a few bold predictions:
1) This will be the episode where the whole Dark Emma subplot will really play out.
2) We will finally meet the Author or Sorcerer in this episode. My guess is the Peddler/Gorin, who is set to debut in this episode, will be revealed to be one of them.
3) We will get the explanation for why Ursula and Cruella didn’t end up in Storybrooke.Why have I thought of these predictions? Because this is the last episode before Once Upon a Time is off for a week due to Easter Sunday, which ABC has already confirmed by announcing an airing on The Ten Commandments that night. Big episodes tend to happen whenever there’s a break of some sort. For example, we saw it with “Smash the Mirror” during 4A, which was a big episode with a week off afterwards. Also, this is the 5th episode of the arc, which is the half way mark. For 3B last year, the 5th episode was “It’s Not Easy Being Green”, which not only had the backstory for how Zelena became green, but had that overhyped showdown between Zelena and Regina. Then there’s the episode title itself, “Best Laid Plans”, which could refer to the above predictions I listed. Rumple and the Queens of Darkness are planning to use Emma, the Author or Sorcerer definitely have plans of their own, and how Ursula and Cruella ended up outside of Storybrooke could have been part of a grander plan. Plus, they’re stalling Cruella’s centric till 418, and before then is Robin Hood’s centric with 417. So a big episode with everyone involved just seems to make sense. Especially if it leads to the Author or Sorcerer finally entering the picture.
Even if Emma didn’t say anything about it, if I’m Marian, and especially if I’m Zelena-pretending-to-be-Marian-to-get-Robin-away-from-Regina, you’d better believe I’d make sure Robin knew all about exactly why I’d called Regina a “monster”.
Oh, I get what you’re saying. Realistically, it would have gotten out a long time ago. But in regards to the show itself, they have been unfortunately dancing around it. It’s the elephant in the room that the writers don’t want to directly address, at least not clearly.
