    1) Favorite episode: Bad Blood. Written by Skin Deep’s Jane Espenson, it did not disappoint. I loved learning more about Jafar’s tragic backstory and his motivation, Jafar pretending to be Alice’s father, and Alice’s father’s entire speech to Alice about how he should have believed her.

    2) Least favorite episode: Who’s Alice. While it was nice to see more of Alice’s backstory, this episode just felt flat. I think what really killed it for me was the whole Borogrove subplot, where Alice was hypnotized by the plant to forget about Cyrus. That was just…so boring and total filler, hence Daniel’s joke about “Borogrove” on the podcast.

    3) Favorite Character: Bloody ‘ell, I gotta go with Will, AKA the Knave of Hearts. This thief with a heart of gold is quite the show-stealer.

    4) Favorite moments?: “I’m gonna die like a bloody smore.”, the entire exchange about the Knave being “stoned”, Edwin’s speech about how he should have believed Alice, and the decapitated Tweedle telling the Red Queen “I think he’s on to us…”

    5) Overall reaction to the season so far: It started out fairly rough and its still not as good as the parent series, but it has its own charm to it. It’s a fun little spinoff that adds to the mythology of our beloved Onceverse.

To put all of this into perspective, EW has a 29 Most Shocking TV Deaths article that I recommend reading. Warning, this article DOES spoil major deaths that have occurred on other TV shows. I do still think its a good read, as it can give us a better understanding for how these decisions have been made in the past:

I would like to add that you can’t necessarily take Adam or the cast’s tweets about the topic as proof, either. There is such a thing as damage control, and they could intentionally be tweeting certain things to lead off suspicion from any particular actor. I would say for now just keep a further eye for who’s definitely spotted filming for the next few weeks, and we may get a better idea. If Colin is still spotted on set after “The Jolly Roger” (which many “Hook will die” believers think could be his final episode) has been filmed, or MRJ has still not been spotted filming again, then I will see more of a reason to suspect something.

Sometimes I think we’re more creative than A and E My big issues with this idea: –Snow looks *exactly* like Eva –Snow and WWW look nothing alike–from what we can tell –Fairies do those things @TheWatcher was talking about but we’ve had no indication that they do it *here* –As always, what would the casual viewer think?

Pretty much all of this. Suddenly making Snow not the biological child of Eva and Leopold sounds too retcony. The WWW actually resembles Cora a lot more, while she doesn’t resemble Eva and Leopold at all. So if the WWW is related to anybody, I feel being related to Regina’s family makes more sense.

Maybe the new curse that brings them all back to SB makes him human?

Or, Smee is there for flashback scenes. It would be interesting if he really is back in human form in present day, though.

I’m thinking now that the death has probably been filmed earlier than I first thought 3×16 I’m guessing.

That was what Kollie said on Twitter, and people have said she’s been reliable about spoilers before. She also mentioned that they film scenes out of order, which I can believe at least since its pretty common place in the industry. So I guess it depends on how much you trust her, but again she’s had a good track record.

Neal: was in NL for a time as a young boy, grew up in our world. Only tie for flashbacks is Emma, but how much is there? We do need to see the rest of the story with August. And because Eion hasn’t been on set I don’t think the death has happened YET. They have to give that story first if it is Neal.

The thing is we don’t know how they plan to go about telling the story between August and Neal, if they even still plan on telling that story. For all we know, the story could involve August/Pinocchio and Neal/Bealfire in their youth, so even if MRJ was no long on the show, they could still technically explain it with Dylan Schmidt there instead. Or perhaps we find out how August figured it out without Neal actually onscreen. Even if this were to be a dropped storyline idea, which would frustrate us demanding for more fill in the blanks, I’m sure it wouldn’t be the first storyline idea they’ve dropped.

I’m simply basing my opinion off of how I’ve interpreted the story so far and what the producers have said. I know that script writing is a business as well as an art, but I think A&E are good at keeping to their vision. They didn’t cave to change their original idea that Henry’s father would be Neal just because fans guessed well in advance he was really Baelfire. They maintained the course they wanted. I’m not presuming to know what the writers have planned in advance; I’m just saying I think they mapped out S3 well in advance, including this sad spoiler. I don’t think it was just sprung out of nowhere due to outside pressures or whatnot. That would be a very sloppy way to conclude a season when OUAT ratings have been dropping consistently.

I’m of the opinion that I do not think this death is gonna happen towards the end of the season, I think it’s gonna happen in late March or early April. Near the beginning or about the mid point of season 3B.

Rose McIver’s interview also supports this theory, since she clearly said she knows. She would likely only know if she had read an upcoming script, and they’ve only written up to 318 so far by the looks of it.

I dunno. I mean, obviously if someone’s fave character gets killed off, that’s gonna be a major annoyance for that viewer, and all the characters on the hit list have very passionate followings, so no matter what happens, there’s gonna be a chunk of the fandom that’s majorly annoyed. But with all the fake out deaths, I can see why they might feel the need for an ACTUAL death. Archie didn’t really die, Neal didn’t really die, Blue didn’t really die, Phillip didn’t really die, we can include S1 Henry in that as well. We know Rumple didn’t really die, and actually we can include the whole town of SB itself on this list, because it almost “died” in the S2 finale, but they saved it, and it’s gonna be brought back again in S3B, too. Cora and Pan died but they both had it coming. It’s about time they hit us with another Graham situation. They’ve hit us with the fake out death so many times, how are we supposed to take it seriously or be emotionally affected when someone “dies” now? If you think about it, people “dying” on this show has almost reached a laughable level. An actual death, a real dead means dead situation, would snap us back into line, and show us that the stakes ARE actually really high, that characters we love CAN be killed, we can’t live in that false sense of security, they really do mean serious business, no more pussy footing around without having the guts to comprehensively axe a character for real. So, much as I hate that one of our core characters is gonna die, I do think it’s a calculated move from a storytelling standpoint, designed to shake things up and raise the stakes.

Agreed. Continuing to play it safe with all the regulars having plot armor to keep them alive might keep fans happy, but at the same time it can make the story boring at times. How are we supposed to take any of these threats on the show seriously if we keep fooling ourselves with the illusion that all of the core group is automatically safe? Yes it would be nice for all of them to get their happy ending, but that’s not the way life works. Life can throw us a curve ball, and death can occur at any time, no matter who it is. The death of a regular character is guaranteed to shake things up much more than a predictable death such as Cora and Peter Pan. I also have to agree that I am tired of fake-outs. You can only go so far with faking deaths on this show, before it gets tiresome.
