Some remaining history of Neverland would be nice to know, but let’s be honest, does the current storyline require us to go back to it? It could easily be saved for another Season. I think after spending half a Season in Neverland, the writers are simply want to take a break from it. Like POM said, there are several unanswered questions from past Seasons that still haven’t been addressed on top of Neverland.

I mentioned this in the chatroom earlier, but it’s very possible the reasons people keep saying these characters can’t die is why they are going through with this death. Life is unpredictable, and tragedies of all sorts happen. Killing off one of the regulars would prove to the audience that nobody necessarily has a plot shield to prevent them from a possible death. Let’s face it, with the exception of Graham (who was only in 7 episodes anyway), the previous deaths on the show have been predictable, because they were only recurring characters such as Cora and Peter Pan. We saw those deaths coming from a mile away, and therefore they never really felt like a bombshell. Killing off one of the core characters, though, would undeniably rise the stakes. It’s also too early to claim it’s bad writing, because the key thing is seeing how the death is executed. Seriously, who knows what will even happen in the episodes leading up to this death. Some of those plot points people want mentioned may as well be covered during that timespan, for whatever character bites it. While it’s easy to play the “I’m going to be skeptical on what Adam says” game, we still can’t say for sure what they ultimately have planned. Our vision for the show doesn’t necessarily fall in line with their own vision. Yes it would be nice if all of the core cast survived and got their happy ending, but that very well might not be the case on the show itself. Personally, I think we’ve exhausted the speculation for this topic until we get more concrete information. I’m just going to take a breather and let things unfold.

I don’t want anyone to leave the show– Regina— just found her true love in Robin. Belle– needs an opportunity to show what she can do, and Rumple has already lost enough. Bae—Henry just found his father, his past has not been explored enough as why he became Neal, and Rumple again has lost enough. Hook–need more opportunity to explore his back story, and is an iconic character–also don’t see any reason he would want to leave the show Emma—really–just no–what OUAT without the main character Snowing—Can’t have OUAT without these 2 How about it being Blue or Whale?

The article made it clear that the death is one of the core cast, not recurring cast. Basically, anybody who’s regularly credited as “starring”, not any of the cast who fall under “guest starring.” Blue and Whale don’t qualify.

Like RG’s said, we honestly don’t know who it will be. Actors change plans after a while, and anything could come up. For example, Two and A Half Men actually fired Charlie Sheen from the show after several Seasons, and he was one of the main three characters. Two and A Half Men has remained on the air, despite this. You never know what will happen, but we can all agree the show will suffer from this. I will say, whoever does bite the bullet, I at least hope they handle their death as best as they can. It’s one thing to kill somebody off, but it’s another to give them a mediocre death.

They wrote a book once. It didn’t go well and it wasn’t reviewed very well.

The problem with the book was that it was just an abridged version of Season one episodes. The graphic novel, which does have an original story, was actually fairly decent.

Honestly, rather than give Wonderland a 2nd Season, I’d rather they experiment with another spinoff for the winter hiatus. Perhaps the suggested Once Upon A Time in Neverland would have that potential.

Another name I’ve considered for a Once original name is Midori, which is the Japanese word for Green. Also, like the name Theodora, there would be a hint of a Dorothy pun there too.

Given the ratings, even with the ratings taken into account, a 2nd Season is unlikely. Wonderland getting a 2nd Season would depend on it needing enough support, which it really doesn’t have. Like RG said, Wonderland was written as a standalone plot for this Season, so everything involved with this storyline will be wrapped up. A hypothetical Season 2 would be a new story with the same cast.

This is just a screenshot and quote from episode 311. Nothing new.

My issue with WickedHatter isn’t about the idea itself, but the simple fact that it’s a longshot as long as Sebastian Stan is unavailable. Adam and Eddy keep saying that Sebastian is too busy, and sadly there are no signs of that changing soon. Nor would they be willing to recast, as they already made it clear that nobody could replace him. Before anybody brings up Robin Hood, Tom Ellis only appeared in one episode. Sebastian has appeared as Jefferson for 6 episodes, and they already specifically said he wouldn’t be recast.
