ModeratorThat was a great way to end the ep, going into the mid-season break. The long wait to find out where he ends up is gonna kill me, but it was a cool ending. Water connects worlds, so I reckon he could end up just about anywhere. Maybe a curious mermaid who collects random treasures will find him.
(I know we haven’t heard anything to even remotely suggest that Ariel’s gonna be a crossover character, I’m just saying, it’d be fun.) Well Eric did say he planned to travel to Agrabah, so maybe we could at least see Eric in a flashback.

ModeratorDon’t the press releases usually *mention* when there is going to be a flashback though?
They normally do, but for big episodes, they sometimes have kept it brief. I recall the Season 1 finale’s press release was also like this.

ModeratorI also noticed that Smee is listed. I guess that likely means the flashback will be of Neverland, and will focus on Hook and Tink.

Greg is but Greg asn’t an immortal to begin with. And Rumple was immortal, cut off his shadow and is fine. There is something very…SNEAKY…about this.
Rumple cut off his own shadow, huge difference. The shadow ripped out Blue’s shadow as he did with Greg. So, I’m pretty convinced, Blue is dead, and can’t be revived in any way. Dead is dead, one of the few limits to magic they have been quite consistent with so far. And frankly, I am glad if they in fact killed Blue. Prefer a tough end instead of dragging out things, and they had no clue what to do with her besides keeping her around as plot device. Have your crack theories, but highly doubt they would ever make her really sneaky fairy. As it looks after this episode sadly even Blue’s death seems wasted, meaningless, shallow and MacGuffinish. They’re good at wasting characters and good acting.
While I do think Blue is dead dead, as I’m not letting any Sneak Fairy bias getting in the way of my theorizing, I do have to add that fairies might be a different case. In Peter Pan, fairies can be revived if enough people believe in them, so that logic might come into play here.

ModeratorAriel and Eric’s reunion was the most rushed thing ever. I don’t know, I felt like it was a case where they didn’t have enough time to develop more for their reunion, and just tacked it on to the beginning of this episode. Like, I would have thought that Eric would have asked about why Ariel stood him up, instead of just instantly kissing her without even saying much. I’m glad they at least showed the reunion, rather than having them already reunited offscreen.

ModeratorHere’s my own personal theory: Blue really did die, but there’s still the chance she can be revived. I think Tink will possibly revive Blue by believing in her: think the classic “I do believe in fairies. I do, I do” bit from Peter Pan. And in return for Tink reviving her, Blue will give Tink back her wings. So Blue could be brought back to life, while the rest of your Sneak Fairy conspiracists still get to continue your cute like crack. =p
