I saw it. Overall, I really enjoyed it, but I would be lying if I didn’t have some issues with it. Without getting into spoilerly details, I’d say the weakest aspect is the villain’s character arc. The way the villain is revealed came off as very flat, and not that well thought out. Plus, there was no villain song =/. Aside from that, I loved the other characters and there were some really good songs. Surprisingly, I didn’t hate the snowman character nearly as much as I was anticipating. Still, Disney spent too much of their promotion on the snowman, which alone turned me off from him.

No, Pan was never a victim of the curse, so he wouldn’t lose his memories. He would lose his ability to use magic.

If this scene is with Aurora and Phillip in the present, Mulan wouldn’t be needed here as she had left to join with Robin Hood. If we see Jamie at all, it will be if they’re filming any Robin Hood scenes soon.

Pretty sure he was just live-tweeting during the AMAs since it was on in our timeslot and had nothing to do with her potentially being on the show. Also there would be riots if anybody other than Mandy Moore took the role of Rapunzel and Zac Levi for Flynn. There’s just no excuse not to have them so I seriously seriously doubt that this was anything other than congratulating someone on winning an award that was on during our regularly scheduled showtime. They didn't get Pat Carroll to voice Ursula, or anything similar, after all. As for Taylor Swift, I doubt Adam meant anything related to Once in that tweet.
Well The Wiz was a musical first so I don’t know how that works rights wise, but I would that you have to pay the writers/producers instead of a company. The 1978 movie a Motwon and Universal Studios Production. But ALL of that was based on the books by Baum, which are easier to gets rights to than say Peter Pan.
The original Wizard of Oz book is actually public domain, so I don’t believe Disney has to pay a thing to use the source material itself. And sadly, I think Oz using a heavy dosage of CGI is likely. When you have a yellow brick road, the Emerald City, and the Witch’s castle, you know they will use visual effects. So, I’m expecting something similar to Oz The Great and Powerful, but with a lower budget.
Also, The Wiz isn’t the only film version of The Wizard of Oz to feature an African American portrayal of Dorothy. The Muppet Wizard of Oz, also produced by Disney, also features an African American Dorothy, played by Ashanti.
So, I guess this is a false alarm. Thanks for clarifying, Phee. However, if it does really air for whatever reason, what me and RG said still apply.
