I’m seeing some chatter in various places that the Wonderland spin off is in the “death” slot. Anyone want to comment on that? I thought putting it in the lead in to Grey’s would be huge given the cult followings of both shows.

It’s because ABC has struggled to find a good performing show in that particular timeslot for the past several years. Probably because CBS dominates that timeslot with The Big Bang Theory.

Maybe Rumple and Peter knew each other as kids. He could have witnessed what had become of Peter first hand. Or, perhaps since Rumple had been abandoned by his father, he in turn became a lost boy and got abducted into Neverland himself. Peter thought Bae was the boy he wanted because of the resemblance to Henry, so the same could have happened with Henry’s Grandpa.

Fortunately Season 3 will have a clean slate, so it will likely get high ratings for the premiere like any other Season premiere during the Fall. What is key, though, is trying to maintain those ratings to prevent another dip during the middle of the Season. Ratings for the first half of Season 2 were pretty good, but for whatever reason ratings declined to below 8 million live viewers with “In The Name Of The Brother” and we never saw above 8 million for the remainder of the Season. Something in that point in the Season really seemed to turn off a bunch of Nielsen viewers.

I agree. I don’t think that the shadow was Peter Pan himself.

That Peter Pan can ripp off the shadow of someone reminds me about the character Gecko Moria from the manga One Piece who once ate the shadow fruit which gave him the power over Shadows. So he can separate his shadow from his body and he can ripp off the shadow of someone else by using a giant scissors. Then this people have to live the rest of their life in darkness because if they would step into the sunlight they would vaporize.

That’s him cutting off a shadow
That’s him with his own shadow called “Doppelman”

Well it could be that this is just a coincident because it might be that the creator of Once Piece was inspiried by Peter Pan when he created Moria’s abilities. Even if he doesn’t look like Peter Pan at all. (More like Dracula or a creature from Nightmare before Christmas or like Hades from the Disney movie).

Anyway I wanted to mention this because it might be important.

Glad to see I’m not the only member here who’s a fan of One Piece. I love that you found that connection. And on a side note, I highly recommend everybody else check One Piece out. Definitely an amazing show!

In the Belle and the Blue Fairy thread, Slurpeez predicted they’d be separated until at least Dec before hiatus. *consumes cookies* Ok, I’m done hijacking every thread about Belle.

Is the goal to ultimately return to SB for good? Is that the plan? I though they’d still go back to the EF and live. Snow and Charming seem on board for that. Emma and Regina and Henry and Neal might be more inclined to go because of how dangerous SB and our world is now.

With people still left behind in Storybrooke, they are likely to definitely return. I’m not sure if they are willing to get rid of the town from the show completely, especially when they surprised us with saving it from destruction during the Season 2 finale. The contrast between the real world and FTL is an integral aspect to the show, and it would be a shame to lose that for good.

As did I. I expected at least a 2.3 ratings share. I know we’re safe for S3, but I hope they take a good hard look at what didn’t work storytelling wise. As for scheduling, I know it was the same for S1 but S1 was far less complicated than S2 and that hurt with all the hiatuses. So I hope they give us 11 all new episodes with no repeats leading up to winter, break for winter/Olympics then come back in the spring with 11 new episodes.

Yep, and many of us think that the Wonderland spinoff will serve as a way to help with that by airing in between the two halves of Season 3. You can also blame Mother’s Day for the ratings, but at the same time the Season 1 finale did so much better.

Disappointing that the Season finale couldn’t get a nice boost. I mean really, it’s the Season FINALE and even included a sneak peek at SHIELD! The finale got a 2.2 and 7.22 total viewers. It might get adjusted in a few days, and DVR numbers will definitely be greater. Still, I expected better: http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2013/05/13/tv-ratings-sunday-revenge-finale-dips-once-flat-cleveland-slides-celebrity-apprentice-hits-low/182416/

I would have loved to see Sherlock Holmes in SB!
But, in an interview in EW magazine, K&H said that Graham was originally suppose to be Sherlock, but they couldn’t get the rights 🙁

I like the idea of London being a fictional/non magic London.
    I don’t think it’s Victor’s “Land Without Color”, though.
Victor’s LWC has to have some kind of magic, or Jefferson’s had would not have been able to go there.
That world was depicted in black&white. London wasn’t.
Also, when Rumple went to LWC, he still had ‘color’, so, it’s safe to say that Bae would’ve still had ‘color’ and he would have stuck out like a sore thumb in that world.

Agreed. Rumple had to create a curse just to be able to travel to a land without magic, and that took centuries. Rumple was able to visit A Land Without Color freely.

Keep in mind that Cora as the Queen of Hearts would only appear in flashback episodes, as this spinoff takes place Post-Curse.

I actually called it that Season 3 would be officially announced that date quite a while back. The Friday before the Upfronts was when ABC decided to announce Season 2 of Once and their other pickups last year, so it didn’t seem out of the question to consider they would do the same this year.
